Café Colombia — Restaurant in Woodland Park

This is an inviting place with parking in the back. Went there today looking for a hearty hot soup so i ordered the sopa de costilla de res(beef rib soup) and a chicken bandejita paisa. There was a thick layer of probably canola oil floating on top of bowl so i returned the full bowl back, and still got charged. However the waitress did offer to pack it for me. The chicken breast was dry and lacked flavor in the bandeja paisa. It was not busy when i was there at around 1pm. I ordered a beef empanada while waiting for food and it was extremely delicious. Also, i ordered a guava and cheese pastry which was fantastic as well. The place was very clean and service was quick and friendly enough. Id like to give them another shot with different menu items in the future. It was quite cold inside, they should install heaters...

First time here and will be my last time here. I got a few things that added up to 6.50, they said their minimum for card is 10, I told her, i dont have the rest or cash, I just want to get what im getting, she insisted that I get something else to get to 10, so I told them to cancel it and she didnt want to do that either and said you cant just buy something else? I said no, i dont want too, and someone offered to pay for it. All a huge situation over a credit fee that is no more than a dollar. As a business, you find out to make it work, you dont make the customer feel like its their fault like how was I supposed to know yall have a minimum, on top of that, No ATM.

Been coming for years. This last time I ordered a big order to go. While I waited for some food that was taking a little long I decided to eat one of my empanadas. When they gave me the rest of my food they asked me to leave, because they said I had ordered my food to go and they needed the table. Mind you there was a gentleman sitting at another table for 45 minutes with no food in front of him, and another two guys sitting next to us that had already finished their meal but were just sitting there talking. I was sitting their with my wife and my daughter and they had the nerve to ask us to leave of all people while we were actually eating. All the times I been here with my family and this is how they treat...
