"Lomo Saltado Surprise: The Rice and Fries Chronicles"

Prepare yourself for a culinary rollercoaster, where the thrill is in the unexpected distribution of ingredients. At first glance, the portion size had me doing mental cartwheels – a feast fit for a famished giant! As my fork embarked on its journey, loaded with the promise of equal parts beef, fries, and rice, I couldn't help but marvel at the delicious medley.

But oh, dear reader, the plot thickens like a rice-coated conspiracy! As I delved deeper into the container, it became abundantly clear that the beef was on a covert mission, camouflaging itself amidst a sea of rice and fries. It was like a culinary magic trick, but one that left my taste buds yearning for more than just a starchy encore.

Alas, the grand illusion shattered, revealing the harsh reality – the container was essentially a secret society of rice and fries, with beef playing the elusive protagonist. The disappointment was so palpable; even the fork sighed in resignation.

In conclusion, if you're a die-hard fan of rice and fries and enjoy the occasional cameo by beef, this dish might be your gastronomic soulmate. However, if you entered the arena craving a triumphant trio, brace yourself for a rice-and-fries-heavy drama that leaves you questioning the meaning of portion control. It's a culinary adventure, but perhaps not the one you...

I have been to this establishment only once, the food is usually very good. I had been having it door dashed, and told my coworkers about the place. One particular time I ordered my usual dish, and the steak was black, crunchy and burnt badly. I was pretty upset, because food isn't cheap these days, and this dish in particular was expensive. So I called asking to speak to a manager. A woman answered, and asked if I could send a picture of my meal. I did. She immediately saw how badly it was prepared, and offered me a complimentary meal for next time. I accepted. Next morning I'm at work, and look at my phone and see a missed call. It was the lomo truck. I called, and a man answered claiming to.be the owner. He told he was glad I brought this to his attention, but was unable to honor a complementary meal. To say the least, I was taken back, that a business owner had the gall to call and take back a complimentary meal for something they messed up. Needless to say, ill never eat there again. Update! The owner called me back 5min after I posted this, to try to tell me I misunderstood him. You can't make things...

It's unfortunate because I want to support my Peruvian brothers succeed in this country. I tried it as a first time craving the food is ok it isn't bad at all however, the problem i dealt with was that I sent my GF to pick it up on my behalf and whoever was at the front was extremely rude and short with her. No customer service courtesy just annoyance from the man. I don't really know if there was a problem or if the man was under stress which is understandable but when it comes to service that doesn't excuse bad behavioral interaction. Customer service is 75 percent of driving the product it's part of the experience and if you lost me there you can forget I'll come back and refer people. I called him back to get a clear story and he did apologize if there was a misunderstanding which is fine. Again, my rating would be higher if this had...

I was looking for a spot for lunch and stumbled across this place. I called in my order of the lomo saltado and tallarin saltado both with shrimp. When I arrived I told the lady my name and she said it was almost done. The restaurant was super cute. No indoor seating but they had benches outside. After a while the food was ready and I paid and left. When I got in I ate and the food was very good. The shrimp was seasoned well and they gave a good amount. The rice and fries was also good. This was a good, affordable meal and I would try this spot again.
