Carvel — Restaurant in Woodland Park

If I can give this 0 stars I would. We ordered from this Carvel location on Uber Eats last night. I ordered a medium hard ice cream with M&M topping. Once we got the ice cream, not only was there M&Ms on it but also the chocolate crunches which I did not ask for. I started to eat the ice cream anyway but came to realize there was a little piece of walnut in there. I am EXTREMELY allergic to tree nuts. I immediately started itching, my throat was bothering me, I had flushing and rashes so bad that I went to the ER. Luckily the doctors were able to give me meds to help.

The kicker is that we called this location and complained that there had been nuts in the ice cream and the staff was completely combative saying that it’s “cross contamination.” Absolutely not! They simply used the same spoon or some nuts spilled into the other topping containers. Totally unacceptable. Do not recommend giving them business. They are lucky nothing...

Carvel is supposed to be a happy place, but my experience was sad, unpleasant. I’m surprised about it. I walked in with my family and we were not greeted by the attendant at all. In fact she looked like she was annoyed we were there. She rolled her eyes at us and acted too busy to help us. We stood there for a couple minutes before the other two girls came out from the back to help us. I didn’t get her name, but she is Caucasian with long, dark brown, wavy hair, pulled back in a ponytail. She was very rude. Also, seemed like the other two girls working with her, feared her. She should be spoken to, it’s costing your business! It may be nice to work on customer service training! I will never return there again, nor will my family. Saturday...

I came to this carvels all the time and never had an issue tonight 3/2/25 is a different story now I know if you have one person working it gets back up but this one red head girl with black glasses is just sitting there talking on the one then gets off then starts talking to a customer (I guess her friend they seem to know each other) about some fight. I get that you can talk to people but at least multitasks if anything. But no they sat there talking for 5 minutes (not including her picking up her phone). I waited there for 10 minutes to see if I can just place my order since the other customer wasn’t and nope nothing so I just walked out!
