Parkwest Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Woodland Park

I have been a consumer at this bagel place at least 75+ times before new owners and prior and I went in yesterday to get a bagel and remembered after I purchased it, that randomly, 2 times in the recent past ( the last 2 times I was there), they sopped my bagel with the requested cream cheese AND mixed a boat load of butter on my bagel. 2 times! I could not eat it, it was disgusting and the money I barely had was wasted. I went in today to have them recall the situation b/c after I went home to eat it at the time, I noticed they ruined my breakfast while basically broke waiting for my EBT to come in. Today, I went in there to talk to him and said that yesterday while paying and using their facility to troubleshoot at an issue I'm dealing with, that it would be good business relations to help me out from the prior 2 times my bagel was ruined on purpose. He then processed to gaslight me and said " I ALWAYS DO THIS". It was the first time I addressed it in person besides calling about it 2 times directly after it happened a bit ago, I hadn't gone there since , since yesterday. I went there in confidence yesterday and paid for a bagel to see if they would ruin it and they didn't. I thought as a paying customer all those times, that he would to the right thing and give me what was ruined those 2 times in a row when I went there last. He accused me of things I did not do and basically was nasty just b/c I mentioned that since that happened, it would be good consumerism for him to help me. NEVER GO THERE, they only want money and do not care about their customers. They also change the prices of their items as they see fit depending who's purchasing.

** UPDATE, upon response from owner, I went there the next day to show the man who opens, the google response and he refused to make it up to me and he threatened that he would call the cops when no one was yelling, there was no confrontation other than showing him the review and saying that they said they would make it up to me. He then denied having social media or a google page and then later said it could have been his son that responded. I had 2 bagels that were ruined for about $10 value. Not the last visit, but 2 visits prior that were not edible. They owe me or they will...

Idk about this place. Went in on a Friday morning, had some cops and union guys in there, usually a good sign. Dingy place but it almost works to their favor, a good bagel spot can be a little gross, especially in this area. That being said, they kinda messed my order up, it’s expensive and they dont give a lot of food.

I ordered a Taylor ham and cheese, on an EGG bagel. Received an egg bagel, with a fried egg (good but not what I asked for or what I wanted) and then 2 thin slices of Taylor ham. It cost $6.40 which is like $2.50 more for the same bagel (better food and quality) from bagels unlimited in little falls.

My usual place was closed so found parkwest bagel and cafe and by the reviews i thought it would be a great experience at least a decent one. I ordered a simple sanwhich no pepper just salt and ketchup and i got salt pepper and no ketchup. Go to get the sandwhich remade and the owener wanted to go back and forth with me saying we said salt and pepper. He seemed to be overwhelmed by the orders. After receiving the order some of the bacon was not cooked all the way. Would not go back the food was not great in taste.... if you want to eat somewhere that is great drive 2 miles down the road on union ave. West side grill...
