As a former employee, this place is terrible. I worked here from June 2021 to August 2021. There are almost no food safety practices in place and they consistently barely passed the county health inspection. I became very sick with a cold after traveling abroad and my general manager (Bri) gave me three days off before demanding I come into work, still sick and clearly experiencing symptoms. Thankfully, I did not handle the food. I additionally broke my wrist and sprained my shoulder after an accident and once again, I was made to work while in a sling. I understand that working was my responsibility, but handing drinks out while limited in my mobility was not my finest moment. Do you know how hard it is to serve a drink carrier with one hand? As the drive-thru worker I also faced the anger of customers while my coworkers made the sandwiches, with me having to ask repeatedly where they were. I was hit on by numerous creepy men in the drive-thru with practically no way to defend myself as the "customer is always right". I was once followed home from work by one of these men. There was also virtually no AC in the store the entire time I worked there. Not only is this bad for exposed foods, but it made the work environment miserable. There were numerous times I had to sit in the back to avoid fainting, and we would stand in the freezer to cool down. We poured ice in the windowsill in hopes of cooling our stations down. A returning employee's pay was not adjusted to the raise in minimum wage for almost a month which I'm 90% sure is illegal, and the issue was only corrected when me and another manager were going over pay. The store also withheld money from multiple employees, me included. I believe by the time I quit I was owed $300 dollars while another manager was owed over $2,000 dollars. When he contacted corporate about it they accused him of stealing. So if you like supporting a wage-hungry company and experiencing long wait times, this is the perfect store for you. While I absolutely loved my coworkers, it was not worth being overworked and underpaid for...
Read moreVisited this store on 7/13/19 at 11:00 am and ordered three sandwiches totaling $24. I asked if I could have one sandwich made very specifically and was told "No problem" by the young man who greeted me.
I gave him the ingredients and a young lady started working on my sub. I asked for one of the ingredients to be removed (hot peppers instead of green peppers) and got an eye roll followed by a sigh and and a bunch of body language attitude from her as she animatedly threw the ingredient in the trash. She started adding another ingredient that I didn't want or had ordered and I stated what my order was again and was told by her that I did order that ingredient and the attitude started again. The young man who started my order came over and declared to the young lady's defense that I did indeed order that ingredient and confronted me in a somewhat aggravated tone. I felt like I was in a lunch room argument back in elementary school.
I have never seen two people advocate for me to eat lettuce as much as these two did. I asked for the young lady's name and was in return asked by the young man why I needed it. I replied that I was going to write a review and asked him if he was the Manager and what his name was. He abruptly told me that he couldn't give out her name and yes he was the Manager but wasn't going to acknowledge who he was either. Extremely odd for a "Manager" to address a customer this way.
The lack of accountability by the "Manager" on duty and the over all poor customer service training would appall me if I owned this store. These two individuals simply chose to badger me as a customer instead of making two very simply changes in my order and letting me leave a happy customer. The power of lettuce in this store supersedes...
Read moreThe problem I am about to describe is not a new problem, it has been going on since at least January of this year (2021).
Only shop here is you are comfortable buying food for 1-2 hours from when you order. The Sandwiches are great, assembled well, and always fill me up. The service is the slowest I have ever seen anywhere, period. It is ordering pizza "ASAP" on a friday night slow. When they deliver they claim to have been busy, but when you order pick-up there is almost never a line of customer or orders.
My average pickup experience goes one of two ways: I order pickup and then wait at least one and a half hours to get it marked as done, every time (except for the one time where it finished in a whopping hour and 10 minutes) I order pickup and get impatient after 1 hour from the order being marked as received, go in to find no crowd, no list of orders, no row of sandwiches being made, just a bunch of guys hanging chatting and idling. Then when I say I am there for my order the apologize and make it in about 2-3 minutes.
I just submitted feedback so don't bother asking me to do it. Regardless it's pretty clear that whoever runs the shop isn't getting the message. Look through the reviews over the past month saying the same thing. If your experience is different than mine, I expect your are doing walk-in orders or drive-through.
P.S.- I wouldn't be as annoyed if it wasn't advertised as freaky fast, and an accurate wait timer so I know when to...
