Unfortunately, i had a disheartening experience at this location. My sister and i went in for a breakfast date. We were quickly seated and the waitress asked us if we want coffee. Great!
it quickly turned sour when my sister asked if they double their eggs (our usual place does). the waitress responded with what felt like a very smart response of "you can buy more eggs for an upcharge". we asked again, to our dismay she responded the same but with more of an attitude. We were still hopeful the experience can be turned around, despite the so far bad experience,. as we are ordering she gives us more attitude and quickly tries to brush us off when my sister is not sure of her order. the waitress goes "fine, I'll just give you guys more time since you do not know what you want" she goes to walk away. My sister says "no it's fine" and has to repeat herself as the waitress is trying to walk away to have our order put in. i was appalled at this point at her behavior. it is one thing to have a bad day and be on edge it is another to have an issue with giving quality customer service in a Customer FOCUSED job.
As our food came it looked fine for me, I got chicken and waffles a easy make. my sister's food was not the most appealing a sampler. We both take one bite and my sister's face turns sour. I take a bite out of mine, the waffle does not melt in my mouth but disintegrates. It was a sad moment for both of us. not to mentioned the coffee tasted watered down.
now for the rude manager. Unfortunately we do ask for a manager because at this point our entire experience has been ruined. Our food was inedible, our waitress rude, and now this man raises his voice at us. He at first explains to us how our interaction with the waitress went as she explained her side of it to him ( i assume to cover herself in case of a complaint). He argues about how we the customer disliked the food and how there is flavor (yet he didn't taste it). I explained to him that my waffle was disintegrated when i ate it. he quickly grabs the plates and we offer to still pay for the coffee and he snaps back no don't have to. one the bright side he did offer to bring us more food but we politely declined as we didn't want to waste more of their food.
I respect a manager that stands up for their employees but there is a way to do it that does not insult your customers. There is a way to listen to a complaint and turn the situation around. But digging in your feet and being bravado on a stance that is wrong is not the way to do it.
My advice for a those involved. Slow down and listen. being argumentative get you no where. Also a sorry would...

Quickly seated by a very warm hostess, our server was at our table within seconds, suggesting a cappuccino, which my wife selected and thoroughly enjoyed, while I went with just coffee. Just the right length of time before ordering, food arrived quickly. I had the breakfast special with hash & eggs & potatoes, while my wife had the special with eggs, sausage and potatoes.
We're both kind of particular about our egg preparation, and these were absolutely perfect soft poached, I believe that to be the most difficult to perfect, we both were very impressed. I'm a tough customer when it comes to CB hash, some try to make it too fancy, some resembles canned. This was the perfect hash. The whipped butter at a spreadable temp was another indication of attention to detail.
Meals like this don't happen by accident. This is obviously the result of great training of capable candidates for employment, then excellent leadership to sustain consistent quality.
Kelli was a great server, always there but never bothersome. She had a line at the end that while I won't divulge here, that just oozed hospitality and genuine appreciation. I recruit employees , and I am always on the lookout for excellent attitudes and ability. Kelli would be at the top of my list.

Β Β Β Read moreToday 12/27 I Was waiting for a pickup. I entered and asked 1 worker (busser) and he didn't really know so I waited by the pickup orders. A while about 10 minutes later a server asked me and I told her I was waiting. She told me they'll bring it out when it's ready. Shortly after who I am assuming was the supervisor because they did not have a uniform asked me as well, I told her the same and she just said they'll bring it when it's done. That's 3 workers that never actually went back to check on the order. After about another 20 minutes another server (blonde hair in 2 braids) asked if I was still waiting and i told her yes as i was getting impatient. She actually went back and a few seconds later she came out with the food. Im assuming it was sitting their all ready and boxed up. No one decided to check for this order except for the last server. The last one, i wish i got her name, was helpful and actually helped me while everyone else before did absolutely nothing. Horrible service.
