I really wish that I could give this location 5 stars. The food is always delicious. The mac-n-cheese is the best I've had, the cheddar biscuits are to die for, and the potato salad is fresh and very good. I only had the collard greens once but did not like them, and that's saying something coming from me because I genuinely like all greens. These tasted like they were boiled in a pot of onions and nothing else. No meat, no season...just onions. But the reason that I give 3 stars is because every time that I order via drive thru, and I mean EVERY TIME, they leave an item of food out of my bag. It's really frustrating to pay $30+ for a family meal only to get home and realize that an entire side is missing. Twice it's been cole slaw, and just last night it was grilled corn on the cob. Ugh!!! I called and spoke with the manager three weeks ago and was told they would mail me a $10 gift card for my trouble but I have yet to receive it. I honestly had forgot all about the gift card but last night was a reminder of how bad this place is with not giving you everything that you paid for.

I was really surprised that the corporate manager reached out to me regarding my review and offered to make things right - and boy, did she! I sincerely appreciate the gift card and wish that more companies would show gratitude to customers when service falls short of expectations. My complaint today is lack of communication and how the situation was handled. We ordered our food around 5:20 pm (4 adults and 2 kids) normally each meal comes for 1 or 2 biscuits which hands down is one of the best part of the food. Our food took a while to come but the restaurant was busier than usual so that was understandable. When food finally came out only one of the plates had biscuits on it and they didnāt say anything until be asked. The young lady then said āoh we ran out and we are making more right nowā and walked away. We gave the two biscuits to the kids so they donāt have to wait. Once we finished our food we realized the biscuits never came out. So my husband walked to the counter and asked and the said they are still out because the oven is broken and they are trying to make it in the smoker!!! So he came back within minutes the server walked a dozen biscuits to the table that arrived much later than us. Although biscuit is a small but delicious part of the meal, there was a major lack of communication and handling the situation. I asked if I could have a Togo cup because the glass I was given was dirty. I wasnāt upset or anything. She threw the cups at my mom and I. My mom friend is here with us and sheās not of color. So it kind of makes me feel as if we were treated differently because of that. Then I go up to the front get a Togo box and the other girl is like give me a sec. So Iām like ok sure no problem. Sheās going over receipts. Still no problem. So Iām patiently waiting and a guy comes from the back and asks if Iāve been helped yet. I said no, however she told me one sec. She the same says what can I get yu, and I ask for Togo box. Iām very disappointed about how my mother and I were treated because this was my first time here and also my last. The manager comes and basically ask me do we have a Jim and nicks near me and I tell him no. He basically didnāt address the problem and only told me well Iām not worried about the review.
