I ordered the buy one sub, get one free deal last night — a turkey sub for me and a cheesesteak sub for my husband. I specifically said no jalapeños on mine, and my husband asked for less jalapeños on his. When we got home, my husband’s sub was fine, but mine had jalapeños all over it, even though I clearly said none.
I called the restaurant, and the two employees replayed the video and confirmed that they did make a mistake and put jalapeños on my sub when they shouldn’t have. The next day, I spoke with the manager, who said she would call the owner. Instead of owning up to the mistake, they said my story “sounded fishy” — just because I didn’t mention my allergy to the employees the night before.
I didn’t feel like I had to explain my allergy at that point — I simply asked for no jalapeños, which should’ve been enough. The fact that they turned this around on me instead of apologizing is extremely unprofessional.
I’m allergic to jalapeños, and if I had taken a bite, it could have caused a serious reaction. Thankfully, my husband ate the sub so I wouldn’t get sick. This experience was unacceptable, and the attitude from management made it even worse.

First they didn't have the bread the customer wanted so they decided to get White instead. My husband told the girl to make both sandwiches with white instead. After 15 minutes they still had not made the order. The young girl behind the counter looked at my husband and said I told you we don't have the bread you want. My husband said I told you to use white and she got sarcastic with him. Also the workers call the manager crack head. My husband said you can tell he his always high. This subway needs all new managers. They are always out of stuff. Once my husband had an order and they wanted pepper Jack cheese. They were out so the manager took american cheese and rubbed jalapeños over the cheese. The workers goof around and they will set on the counters talking. My husband has wanted 10 to 15 minutes sometimes longer for an order. They are lazy and no one knows how to order the stuff they need. My husband has told Door Dash he will not take orders for there again. Please get someone in there that knows what they are doing. I could do a better job then those kids could. Read moreWas " greeted" by a little girl with a bad attitude. I asked her to heat the meat before putting in the sandwich. As she was clearly putting it in the sandwich cold, i asked again. She looked at me like i was such an annoyance and she said I will heat it In the sandwi ch. I said no please heat it alone first and again with the bread after. I just prefer it this way. This didn't sit well with her because she had to walk to get the rubber container they heat stuff in. As she was coming back she whispered an insult for me to her colleague. Rolling her eyes thinking I wasn't watching. Is that a way Zero work ethics. Zero Savoir vivre. I was extra polite the whole time. Giving her a chance to redeem with a smile.. but no. She shouldn't be anywhere near costumer service. I'm a super tipper but she lost. I didn't tip a dime. This happened today, Friday, May 27 2022 at 1;30 pm.
