Chase's BBQ Shack — Restaurant in Woodward

What a great little gem of a BBQ spot! In from Austin, TX the mecca of BBQ but I seek out new BBQ experiences wherever I go. My coworker had the pulled pork: well seasoned and tasty, cowboy beans: delicious peppery flavor, potato salad: nice and mustardy, not your style if you like mayo heavy but I like mustard heavy potato salad, I had the Brisket filled potato, forget what they called it, it was delicious, cheese piled a mile high, brisket flavor was on point, nice and juicy, potato came with sour cream, bbq sauce, and ranch, which I thought was odd, but trust your pitmaster right? I dumped that ranch on there and it was definitely the right call. My only complaint would be the mac and cheese. Its hard to make a good mac and cheese, I rarely find it out in the wild, with that natural cheesy creamy flavor and this one was definitely not that nice homemade style. Still a 5 star experience, 5 star meal, and we got shown some Oklahoma hospitality. I tried to come by last night just as they were closing, pitmaster pointed me to the other nearest bbq joint which was not even close to as good as Chase's! We came in today for lunch and he gave us both a complimentary bananer puddin' which was a perfect end to a great trip. Y'all sure do know how to make people feel welcome here...

Stopped by here in a semi truck, not realizing it was drive-thru only. Was able to park across the street and just walk through, & then eat at the picnic tables. Food was INCREDIBLE! We got the pork nachos, brisket, ribs, and banana pudding. Nachos were great, we liked the brisket, but the ribs were fantastic. Great Smokey flavor, super tender, and still had a great bite to them. The banana pudding is what really stole the show for me. Owner was super nice, and we’ll definitely be coming back tomorrow to try the jalapeño poppers...

Friendly folks, delicious food at average price for bbq. Being from out of town I've only had the opportunity to try them once but will definitely be back. I had the "Bull Tater" (Smoked brisket on a huge baked potato -was perfect) and a banana pudding (a little different style than traditional but was probably the best I've ever had).
