Heritage Creamery — Restaurant in Woodway

Let me start by saying my family and I used to love Heritage Creamery in Woodway. The Mint Stracciatella was my favorite flavor. Delicious! However, since they have moved into the the shared space with Slow Rise/Common Grounds, we have been really disappointed. On the last day of school, my wife took my kids for a start of summer treat. There were only two flavors in the freezer and no one was behind the counter. They waited several minutes and still no one came to help them. They left and went to Dairy Queen. Then last Sunday, 6/15, we went around 4pm. When we walked up to the counter, the lights were off and not an employee in sight. One of the Common Grounds employees saw us and explained that the Heritage employees had not shown up to work that day and they weren't sure when/if anybody would show up. Keep in mind the sign on the front door says Heritage hours are 11am-10pm. We left and went instead to Splendid Oaks where we were promptly served ice cream that was equally delicious to anything I have had at Heritage in the past. I really hope that the owners/managers of Heritage find a way to turn things around, but until then, there are plenty of other...

Let's talk about Heritage Creamery, Woodway.

It was good. If you do not like Mojito, do not try the Mojitos Ice Cream.

The guys who were working there apparently didn't really want to be there. They were just there. The place is goog, and the gazebo outside gives you the opportunity to be quiet and relax.

There is nothing more to say, it really is a place that if you like you can visit, but it is not a place that I would visit constantly.

Service was wonderful ... the young lady behind the counter was fast, polite and friendly! The establishment was clean and there were some unique flavors available; we tried three and enjoyed them all! The cone in a cup was made fresh while we watched in about 30 seconds and quite tasty. The cost seemed a bit high ($14 for two scoops in a cup and two scoops with a cone in a cup) but the ice cream itself was delicious, homemade and above average...
