Lj's Kitchen — Restaurant in Woonsocket

10/10 experience and food. I've managed to stop by twice so far and I have many more visits planned in the future.

Food: As of now I've stopped in for both brunch and dinner once. So far I've had the BBQ chicken, LJ's Mac, and Breakfast pizza, the Eggs Benny, onion rings, French onion soup, as well as one of the rotating dinner specials. I can tell they use quality ingredients and I felt the portions were perfect. I would absolutely order each of those items again. During brunch I ordered a Bloody Mary, and it was fantastic. I'm pretty sure they make the mix in house as well.

Atmosphere: It's a sports bar! Tons of TV's to zone out on with tons of seating around the bar. All of the surrounding patrons were kind, and I noticed plenty of accommodations for dining families with children. The artwork is done by a local artist, and the restaurant mascot is adorable. The restaurant is very warm and comfortable, and there's always great music playing inside.

Staff: The three owners are wonderful. They're a riot to chat with, and it's very easy to tell that their passion for the restaurant is an absolute labor of love. The servers were all wonderful, and very attentive as well.

They've only been operating for a few months, but I'm very excited to see what they have planned in the future. I know they host a bunch of events weekly, as stated on their Instagram as well. I've yet to make it to any of them, but I'm sure they're all loads of fun. I whole heartedly recommend LJ's, always take a chance on their rotating specials and remember to always order the LJ's on the side. Trust me you'll want to dunk everything in it.

Had a very enjoyable lunch a place I'd definitely be revisiting for lunch dinner or drinks. Very friendly staff made me feel like I was eating at a friends or family cookout. Doing the RI food fightsI burger challenge this is how I found this GEM hidden in Woonsocket if your in the area, stop in and grab a bite. Staff informed me everything is made by scratch. I enjoyed everything not one thing needs to change. It was cold in dinning room when I walked in and I was just dealing with the chill another set of customers came in and said its chilly and staff was like is it cold to the rest of the people and immediately put the heat up, they wanted to do best for there customers or I should say there friend's I didn't feel they cared about the money they care about friends enjoying good food. We saw LJ's kitchen on a RI pizza forum and had to try. We wanted a "Bar Style" pizza and we got it. I also suggest if you dont know what bar style is do your research. I called with a question about their chicken and pickle pizza. The owner answered and was super polite and professional. We ended up ordering their plain cheese and a pepperoni, and can I tell you I can't wait to order our next pizza from them. The cheese had a wonderful aroma, beautifully crispy edges great color and i personally like a lighter sauce and they nailed it. The pepperoni was cooked to our perfection. They cupped up beautifully great flavor to match the sauce and cheese. Both get an 8.7, i never give perfect scores because i believe everything can always improve, but damn this was good.
