A true piece of Americana; the classic diner, dripping in chrome, deep, padded booths and scads of nostalgic trappings on the walls!

The fare here is second to none, served in heaping portions. Whether you're up for a great breakfast (their biscuits and sausage gravy are THE way to start the day, or go for the hash, served up crisp - not to be missed!), or a lunch that genuinely hits the spot (there are plenty of choices, from comfort food like meatloaf, mac 'n cheese, awesome fried chicken or just wicked good burgers to quick, satisfying bites like wraps and sandwiches), you can't go wrong. Sometimes you an itch for a specific thing and nothing else will do until you get it; Patriot's has it.

If you have a sweet tooth, they've got desserts, shakes and ice cream (nothing like seeing goodies waiting for you in a good old heavy glass case...) as well. You'll likely have to come a few times to try different things - not that it'll be a problem; once you visit, you'll find yourself thinking about the next time you come - because you WILL leave full, without denting your wallet! The portion to price ratio is very fair and they accept all types of payment (though I don't know about checks, but then, who writes a check at a diner?).

In an area where you can choose pretty much any type of restaurant you want (and there are some good ones), when I go out to eat, this is THE place and I've never been disappointed. You may be saying "what, do you work for this place or something?" but I can honestly say, once you've been, you'll want others...

Decent food, wait staff seemed friendly, yet didn't bother me every 2 minutes. Which is the way I prefer. Can't stand someone asking if I'm good every time I have my mouth full. Anyway I'm from the south, not sure how it's done up here but where I'm from the bill and the tip are separated. I tip, then pay my bill . Left a 45% tip. Bill was like $8 and some change. Went to the register to pay dropped 2 fives feeling pretty good didn't do the math in my head but expect to get my change and go.thinking I probably left a bigger tip then most. Girl just stands there looking at me. Then kinda gives a little "you want change"? Like she couldn't belive it. She then went and whispered to the waitress that served me, they both walked over , looks on their faces, threw me a dollar and a have a nice day, be Damned if I was getting the change.Like I said I didn't do the math. It's just a dollar and change, had I known they were going to make me feel like a cheapskate I'd have said no,thanks. Now I get to feel like a cheapskate as I walk away. I don't live here, just working down the road.odds are I'll never be here again, but if I do find myself here I'll be sure to eat somewhere else,...

First the good: the salad was large, fresh and full of good things. The clam chowder was tasty. Now the unfortunate: I ordered the seafood Platter with whole class. I literally cried out loud 'wow' as I saw the server heading towards me with this mountain of food on a plate! That's when it started to roll quickly down hill. Everything...everything was so overcooked that everything just crunched and had literally no taste! The class were fried so long that you never would have known that they ever had a belly! The 1 scrawny little piece of fish was dry as a desert. The two shrimp were big and weird as they must have been taken off a different dish because they had some sort of Italian seasoning on them and again, rock hard. The tiny little scallops? Same thing. Then there was the puddle of grease this all sat in. I had indigestion til about 10 the next morning. I didn't even bother attempting the fries.

First impression a classic diner. Nothing pretentious. After you spend couple of minutes you see the wait staff are warm and genuinely carrying for the elder guests. People seems to know each other for a long time. You feel a bit of community kind of vibes there. Food portions are huge and affordable. We've got the weekend specials. I was nicely surprised to see on the specials eastern dishes like mousaka and stuffed peppers. All served with a soup and salad. All delicious. Even it was a dinner time, after a hockey game, my son ordered pancakes and French toast. They were humongous and tasty. I would highly recommend if you're in the area to try this place. The atmosphere felt really good, relaxed, great food; somehow brought up memories of my childhood and my grandparents. Thank you! 😊

Diner with a huge menu. Greek influenced menu with all the traditional breakfast options (& more) you know and love diners for. Very friendly and down to earth staff. Look for the sign near the road because the restaurant is set back a bit. Oversized portions great for leftovers. Pancakes are ginormous, about 3/4 of an inch thick, really tasty, and still fluffy despite the thickness. Open 24 hours, and you can phone in take-out orders. A take-out diner?? Yep, you read that right. The inside could use a little TLC with a few minor unfinished projects like ceramic wall tiles, but it's clean and homey.
