I went back because I had a great experience the first time around. Something has happened to this place since then. Service is abysmal.

They gave us cold coffee. Not a big deal, asked them to reheat coffee. He forgot about it and we had to ask again. He went to reheat coffee and forgot mine (I went with 3 other ppl). Had to ask for my coffee.

They gave us 2 glasses of water for 4 people. Not sure what's happening here. They never checked up on us for anything. No hot sauce, butter, jam or anything. I could've sworn they had this a month ago.

We got 2 build our omelettes. The differentiating factor between our omelettes was cheese. One had cheese and one didn't. We wanted chicken in both. The food comes and the server said that one has chicken and the other doesn't. We tried confirming with him that one has cheese and the other shouldn't. He just said that he doesn't know cuz he didn't take the order (different person took the order).

They also changed toasts. Now you get cake rusk from the looks of it and not actual toasts.

Very cozy spot for brunch.

Went around 2pm on Friday and got their omelette with all veggies and a sandwich (I forgot which). Both were delicious and generous portion sizes.

Dining at Cafe Reyes was an enjoyable sitting. No issues and pleasant service. Ordered was the Empanada Cubana; Empanada Chrorizo; Desayuno Cubano; Papaya Shake; Strawberry Lemondade; Breakfast Empanada; Pina Colada; Bread Pudding.

My favorite of the empandas would be the Breakfast Empanada. The chorizo Empanada was also delicious. They were all fried to perfection, tasted fresh and guiltless despite being a friend item.

The bread Pudding was normal and quite standard. I would like to see a different type of Bread Pudding offered, or if it is the standard type, it would benefit from some revamping of the taste, flavor, and texture to increase it's taste and appeal. It was a miss for me, unfortunately.

I love the Papaya Shake and thought about it for sometime after having it. It was quite tasty. I did also like the Strawberry Lemonade, but it did need a little improvement. It was still worth ordering however. The Pina Colada tasted as expected, no issue.

Over all Cafe Reyes didn't disappoint. I would like to see some additions to the menu apart from the typical dishes you come across in similar...

Took for ever to take our orders. Never came back to check and see if we needed anything. When it was time to pay they didn’t split the bill and he said oh i didn’t split it. I said sorry but it needs to be split. He took for ever to figure it out how to split the bill. I’m on vacation so I had a temporary bank card and they dnt have it so the card can be swipe. Was only tap or insert and it wasn’t taking my card. I had to borrow in order to pay. When done he was having a hard time printing the receipt. Then he managed to print it out. I left my to go order and left it on the table. When I went back to get it, it was gone. A worker took it and brought back to the kitchen. Then they wanted to give it back to me and of course I didn’t take it back because after everything that happened I have no idea if they spit in my food or grabbed it back from the trash. The food was dry. I ask for cola champagne and they didn’t have it. Ask for a Malta they didn’t have it either. End up ask for a coke. Expensive. Non friendly.
