Stopped in for a late lunch. It was a very hot day so we decided to sit inside at the bar, they have an outdoor patio, thinking it will be cooler inside well, it was just as hot inside as it was outside (80°). The bartender, long blonde hair woman, was not friendly at all. I ordered a margarita which she poured into a beer labeled cup, no salt on my rim & my husband ordered his usual beer, served it & went about her business. At this point, we would normally finish our drinks & leave but because we were running errands we decided to stay & order my plate of cobb salad with grilled chicken, side order of sweet potato fries & his appetizer (egg plant bruschetta). The place was empty besides about 3 or 4 other customers also seated at the bar, so we thought our food would be out quick, well no, 20 to 25 minutes later my husband got the tiny order of egg plant bruschetta & I got a huge plate with one boiled egg, all greens & 4 very small pieces of grilled chicken. Very disappointed. The bartender proceeded to place our plates randomly about in front of us, at one point she asked "where do you want these?". She also poured whatever random salad dressing was most convenient to her on the side (did not ask me which one I wanted) & I also found some blue cheese in my salad which was odd. Now, normally I'd strike up conversation with bartender & customers because well everyone has their bad day right? However, she was obviously too busy flirting with her male customers & was very cold towards us (new customers) so we just ate our food & left. Don't know if I'll be back...
Read morePlaced an order from their website early in the morning for a pizza to be picked up in the afternoon. Upon arrival it took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me standing at the bar. When asked if I could be helped I said I was there to pick up a pizza that I ordered on line. The two ladies behind the bar seemed disinterested but checked in the back for my order. One server came back and never said anything to me and continued to talk to the other server and other patrons. After waiting for almost 20 minutes and being ignored I asked if my order was forgotten. The answer was that the back was busy, the system has a glitch, they can't control how the tickets come out and it would be a few more minutes. I was addressed as ma'am in a condescending manner to make matters worse. When my pizza finally arrived the box was literally pushed over to me on the bar. The server then said that she refunded my purchase and did not charge me for a soda and thanked me for understanding all the while walking away without making eye contact. Needless to say I will not ever be back to this establishment. Rude, ignorant and condescending treatment by your staff. The pizza turned out to be very greasy and not...
Read morePoor customer service, we waited for 20 minutes before anyone attempted to approach our waiting table. Very dissapointing due to this was a Friday evening (past 6pm). Bartenders were talking the whole time to their favorite bar-side tippers, waitresses nearby were witnessed counting tips while 8 tables were left without beverages being brought out to tables and food was not put out in an orderly fashion. Our table was bi-passed by waitresses and bartenders and were served before other tables that had arrived after. When our table got up to exit the Vintage Grill, a posing manager came over and expressed his "deepest apologies" and assured us to order anything and that he would count it "on the house". At that point I cannot speak for our party but I felt embarrased and disrespected. We all went to the Vintage Grill on Shrewsbury St to spend our money on some famous pizza and drinks. Instead we were ignored, put-off to wait, manipulated our decisions to experience a good customer service experience and disrespected at the offer of buying us our own meal. To the owners: I would highly suggest retraining your staff so in the future the reputation and integrity of you and your establishment is not...
