Beef Chapli & Beef Kofta Kabab
Sadly I didn't take pictures, was hungry. The food is 100% cooked fresh and not microwaved like at some other places.
The sauce that's given is a yogurt, black pepper and some herb mix which is a tiny bit watered down but fine depending on spice tolerance. I drank mine because it wasn't doing much for the stuff I got.
The Kofta Kabab was nice, it was fresh cooked, thick amount of meat, and tore apart nicely cause it was tender. Now the price seemed fine for the quantity but I will add that there was an aspect missing and that is spice. There was a light amount of flavor but in general it was missing a good amount of kick that is needed to make it stand out. I also don't believe it was cooked on a coal flame since it was missing the taste produced by a good flame. Have some pinch salt on the side or another sauce such as a spicy green raita.
The Chapli Kabab. These in my opinion were far better than the Kofta Kanab but I know someone who likes the Kofta better so it's based on personal preference. If you've eaten chapli then you know it's shaped like a burger patty but far thicker and with tons more spices as well as tomatoes and cilantro blended in and this was that and it did taste good. The spices were whole-ish which is nice since it's kicks and punches of flavor but that's the standard for Chapli. I would recommend the Chapli personally but once again it was quantity over quality and the flavor was very simple. Sure the spices were there, it was freshly cooked, the proportion was nice but it still lacked in that kick I was hoping for.
In all I would definitely recommend if your looking for something new to try but afraid of too much spice, want quantity for something that is usually expensive and small at other places, or freshly cooked kababs for something else you have planned.
I don't expect much from the lamb and it's hard to find correctly seasoned and cooked lamb from quick corners like these. I imagine rice is cooked correctly and the chicken should be better seasoned since it should pick up flavor better but leave a review and...
Read moreNever go to Grill 352 and Kabab! I found a hair one time and I let it go. Got another order of more than $100. The order consisted of 5 kebab roll ups, one chapli kabab order, french fries and rice. We began eating the sandwiches and found a bug in my sandwich. I called the restaurant and complained about it. The guy said he would refund for that sandwich only. I told him that I cannot eat the other sandwiches because every sandwich had lettuce and the chapli kabab also had lettuce and I’m not comfortable eating the food anymore. The guy said only one sandwich had a bug not all of them so I’m not refunding for anything else. He said I can eat the other ones. He couldn’t understand the simple concept of sanitation. I offered to come to the restaurant right away to show him the bug and he said they were closed already. I was in the process of explaining to him that it was not clean and I wasn’t comfortable eating the food. I told him I refer people to the restaurant and now I’ve found the bug so I won’t do that anymore. He just hung up on me without letting me finish. I’ve never written a review but this level of disregard for sanitation and the customer experience forced...
Read moreI was not the biggest fan of the food here. We got a chicken tikka and kabab plate with spicy rice, a lamb and beef gyro wrap, and a chapli kabab plate with naan.
The naan was really good and cooked fresh. Overall, everything else lacked flavor or seasoning. The chicken was kind of bland. Cooked well enough but just not very delicious. The kabab was decent. The rice was not that spicy.
The chapli kabab was cooked really well and was extremely juicy. But it had next to no salt or any other flavor.
The beef and lamb wrap was decent. The sauce was very good.
Maybe my personal standards for Pakistani food are too high, but this is pretty standard fare for Massachusetts. I wouldn't drive all the way to Worcester for it, but if I'm in the area, I wouldn't mind getting a wrap to go. I think they would improve significantly if they added a touch more salt to their meats.
The seating area was clean and spacious, and the service...
