Salgabom Snacks — Restaurant in Worcester

I’m a Grub Hub driver and almost every time I have to pick up an order from this location, the older gentlemen that is always there is extremely rude and short tempered with me. Tonight he left me standing at the counter for over 10 minutes without saying a single world, even though he and an employee walked about multiple times. I then approached him to ask if the order was ready or almost done, he then asks if it’s a delivery order & then tells me to go and wait back at the other counter that I was just at. I do, and I end up standing there for another 10 minutes without any update or any words spoken to me at all. I finally ask him if he has any idea how much longer this order would be. He asked for the name (again), I give it. He asks a second time and I give it again along with the spelling. He then rudely tells me to show him the name on my phone. I do but as I do, I tell him he could’ve just said that to start with as opposed to only asking me the name. He then gets visibly angry & creepily wide eyed, points his finger at me, and while raising his voice he tells me to, “watch what I’m doing in here” twice. I’m not sure what that was about or what this man’s problem is but I’m genuinely over of it and I’m sick of his piss poor attitude. If he doesn’t like the delivery drivers asking about their orders, then he shouldn’t use...

I had ordered several times from this place and the acai bowl never came so I decided to go in person to try it. The man at the counter was very rude, impatient, and lacked self awareness. I made it very clear I wanted a custom bowl. He looked away, and talked to me while facing the wall. His accent was very thick but I understood that he was trying to point out the "traditional bowl" to me but I cannot eat grain so I insisted on my choice. He gave me an angry look, said I didn't understand him and he repeated the entire thing, speaking at a wall while I was behind him, music blaring trying to force me to order what he wanted me to. After doing this several times I lost my patience bought the damn bowl i didn't want and am never coming back. If I ever try Salgabom again it'll be Park ave no doubt.

The food and service is amazing. It's not just another Brazilian restaurant. The food here is so different from your typical Brazilian bakery. It's made fresh to order and not sitting under a hot lamp like other places. The owner and his family are so sweet and humble. They know me and my husband by name. Everytime I call to place an order it's easy and quick. I love this place and the people that run it. My whole family does business with them for birthdays and holidays. My husband and kids and I eat here at least once a week lol. Thank you salabom snacks. Your the best!!!!...
