We have supported this small business for the past year, going to the market at least twice a month for donuts, but after yesterday will never return. I arrived on a Sunday around 11:30, and there was already a line of 15+ people. You would think the owner would be behind the counter, helping her customers on a busy morning, right? No, she was posing....almost dancing...in the dining area for social media pictures. The line keeps growing. Then she's posing for more photos in front of her booth. The line isn't moving because there's only 1 person working. Then she's giving donuts to the people taking her photos. The line is still there, getting worse. As a customer, I'm offended that she doesn't value my time. I'm there to give her my money, and she can't help a line of over 15 people? I completely understand the need and use of promoting through social media, but there's a time and a place! Certainly there must be some other time during the week for that, instead of during a busy morning rush. If I were a fellow business owner at the market, I would be FUMING. Her antics were insulting and disrespectful to the other people who SHARE that space with her. That social media post of her posing in the dining room literally called her a queen of the court! Her customers take up so much space as this line develops, blocking other booths from even being seen. Honestly, I can't believe the Worcester Public Market hasn't done something about her lines already. Her donuts are decent, but there are better in town. We found one at the DCU Center just 5 minutes away. So thats the small business we will support...
Read moreBought some doughnuts this morning, but disappointingly they tasted like they were made over a day ago.....very stale. I would not recommend.
EDIT: I see numerous 5 star reviews that mysteriously showed up 2 and 3 days ago. It seems bizarre that all of these people wrote 5 star reviews all on the same day. Seems fishy to me. I stand by my review and agree with other poor reviews. These doughnuts are hard, stale, and don't taste that great.
Another Edit: Based on this businesses response to poor reviews, I wouldn't visit again if I were paid. So immature!! People need to take feedback and improve upon it, not be nasty....Bless You too Doughnut Homies.
Yet another edit: You should accept that people will leave negative reviews based on a negative experience. If you can't, perhaps you shouldn't be in the business. Moreover, you carrying on about my review with your nasty attitude is no help. I hope people who read this can see exactly what kind of customer service you truly do offer. Your doughnuts were not good the day we went. Hopefully you've improved since...
Read morewent here a few days ago and the donuts arenât fresh they sit in some machine to keep them warm and they arenât actually that good you can tell the owner just copyâs every other donut shops like glazie susanâs and roccos donuts it would be nice if you could be original also customer services blows hayleigh served me and was so rude which sheâs the owner. if youâre a small business owner trying to make it big thatâs gonna be really hard when youâre rude to a lot of customers and when you get bad reviews you delete them and attack the people that leave reviews when theyâre just trying to give you constructive criticism i have heard from a lot of people that she is mean and not to my surprise she is so i wonât be going back here or or recommending this place to anyone. i am completely appalled. and donât try the keto coffee sheâs just doing some weird...
