It’s so preppy in here! I took my whole gang of alphas to this place and they had excellent service. The food was very exquisite and literally I dreamed of the fried rice every single day. It’s so good that I’m experiencing withdrawal symptoms. The fried rice is everything I think about about no matter how hard I try it never leaves my mind. Each grain of rice is so delicately steamed with a grade triple A rice steamer from the depths of ancient China. The history of the rice steamer dates back to 800 BCE and it is rumored to be magical. The soy sauce is so rich and savory, it is what pure happiness tastes like. My taste buds cry tears of joy every time I think about the soy sauce. The soy sauce is rumored to be an ancient family recipe made from scratch with the freshest, soy beans on planet Earth. It takes 243 days for the soy sauce to get to the restaurant due to the meticulous care and preparation of the very skilled chefs working here. The shrimp in the fried rice is harvested from the purest waters of Shangzhen, China and the water gets specially treated to ensure the health and wellbeing of the shrimps. The shrimps are wild caught, organic, no GMOS, no growth hormones, gluten free, vegan, and allergen free. Their shrimp from the freshest waters of Shengzheng is overseen by the ultimate shrimp carer who spent 30 years in shrimp school, studying the biology of shrimps and how to exactly raise them so they can feel their best and taste the best and look the best. The peas in the fried rice is a sacred family tradition. Peas actually originated from Golden Wok, it is also famously known as the birthplace of peas. Nothing beats the OG and these peas are just impeccable. These peas are fresh, organic, GMO free, and it has many health benefits such as curing cancer. As soon as I had a taste of their famous sacred fried rice, my crops are now flourishing, my acne disappeared, my back pain is gone, my chronic eye strain is gone, my room is now clean, I am now acing all of my classes, I can speak Latin fluently, and my hamster came back from the dead. And last but not least, the famous carrots. Each carrot is finely grated with the professional carrot chopper. This art of carrot chopping dates back all the way to 715 AD and mastering the arts of chopping carrots with each hand muscle exerting energy is an unspeakable feat. The carrots are so good that they can help a blind person get their...
Read moreBEST CHINESE FOOD IN WORCESTER. I’ve loved this place since I moved to Worcester last year! The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I was eating here a couple times a month before the pandemic, the owner/manager always remembered my name and order. She is so sweet and kind and provides amazing customer service. I was so sad to see they closed at the start of the pandemic, and SO impressed when I saw how they reopened. Golden wok is setting an example for every other business- everyone working is in a mask and gloves, and they have built a pickup vestibule only big enough for one person to stand inside at a time, complete with plexiglass pickup and payment windows, as well as a table preventing people from standing too close to the window to enforce social distancing. I really appreciate how seriously golden wok is taking the safety of their staff and their customers. Not to mention the food is still fantastic and the owner still recognized me even with my mask on and remembered my name and order! Please support this...
Read moreI'd been looking for a cheap but decent place for Chinese take-out, and after trying two other places around town, I happened upon this little gem. The third time was definitely the charm! They have a sizeable list of Lunch/Dinner specials which include your option of appetizer (egg roll, shrimp roll, crab rangoon) and either fried rice or steamed white rice. The only difference in the Lunch and Dinner specials are that the Dinners are a tad larger and cost a bit more. The place appears to be run by a husband and wife team (maybe brother and sister? I haven't asked specifically), and both are friendly and efficient. They do a brisk takeout operation, for one time that I actually dined in there, no less than six people came in to pick up, pay for, and leave with their orders. I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken special; it's...
