I feel bad posting this review but I think new customers should be warned. if you have a decent shape for your brows, don’t go here. If you don’t have a decent shape for your brows, don’t go here either. They will find a way to mess up your brows whether your eyebrows are thin or thick, sparse or bushy. According to other reviews only go to Asha and not the girl I went to (good luck because she has back-to-back appointments and everyone asks for her). Sadly this was my 3rd time going here and leaving very upset and dissatisfied. I didn’t want to go to the same lady but there was no one else available and there was about 5 girls waiting for asha already. I wanted to support a local business rather than going to my usual place in Boston but the woman who does my brows every time i’m at this salon, repeatedly messes up my brows and refuses to take any accountability. Last two times she started off very upset that my eyebrows had no shape but she was the last person who touched them and keeps telling me to come in next month to fix them. Somehow she forgets every time. I’ve never had anyone struggle with my brows or mess them up like she has. I tell every eyebrow threader the same thing but for some reason she cannot do it and acts confused when you point out that your eyebrows are literally two different shapes. To mess up one or two times is ok but THREE times?? Please just get a new hobby… Asha “tried” to fix them but they are already so thin there wasn’t much she could do (although she claimed she fixed them, she did not). I’ve been coming here for my eyebrows for a few years and was always happy—until I tried lash extensions for the first time. My 1st appointment booked was canceled last min, i had to rebook. The initial set looked okay, but I had to return the very next day because there were bald spots and some of my lower lashes had been glued to my upper ones. They fixed it without issue, and I appreciated that.

Less than two weeks later, I came back for my very first fill (more than half had already fallen out). I didn’t know what the process involved, but instead of simply filling, the technician literally ripped off the remaining lashes. It was extremely painful—I was tearing up from how much it hurt—and she knew I was uncomfortable. After an hour, I was shown what was actually a completely new set, which looked nothing like my first set. When it came time to pay, I was put in an awkward and uncomfortable situation. Even though I had booked a fill, I was told I had to pay for a full set. I explained it was my first fill and questioned why I was charged for a full set when that’s not what I booked. With other clients around, it was embarrassing and uncomfortable.

Now, less than two weeks later, all of the extensions have fallen out again. My natural lashes are nearly gone—I have bald spots and what’s left is thin and sparse. I never leave reviews because I don’t like to hurt businesses. But, the unbelievable rudeness I experienced caused me to leave a review. I needed to get my eyebrows done and the last time I came here, I didn’t need an appointment to do it. So, I asked when the next available appointment is and the lady was so rude. She says “honey, it’s covid. Of course you need an appointment”. And started raising her voice because she was the only one working. I will be returning to my old threading place. It’s a shame because the last time I came here, they did such a great job and I drove 45 minutes to get here. All I wanted is the next available appointment, not to be yelled at.
