Upon arrival place was quite they don’t take reservations sat by the window in a tlounge area. Had go to bar to order so I ordered a drink and then sat in the corner area where there was a couch, as when I went up to the bar to get my drink someone sat in my original seat. So I thought it was best to sit somewhere else don’t cause any friction! I work in the hospitality industry, myself Then my best friend, who I was meeting shows up we greet each other.after not seeing the other for about 6mnths She goes up to the bar gets a drink and orders a slice of peanut butter pie,. The peanut butter pie was delivered by a waitress.. Five minutes later the waitress comes back over and says (“I need you guys to move we have a large party that just came in and they’re going to need this area.”) I’m sorry excuse me is there nowhere else for them to sit you can’t put any of your other tables and chairs together you have to tell not ask us to move and not even say please wow OK we relocated to the bar finished our drinks we left. I will not be back as I said I work in the hospitality industry next time you might want to startt off something like this. Good evening folks how are you? How’s everything going so far? Excellent I really hate to do this, but as you can tell, we’re not really a large facility and we don’t really have any places that we can put larger party so we tend to try to put them in this corner if you don’t mind we Will buy you a dessert on the house? Iif you would like we jcan put you at the bar or maybe another section If not it’s completely OK we understand. Enjoy your time. We understand and want our sGuest to enjoy the full experience. This industry myself being a senior level manager, I...

I really want to love this place, and I've tried. I've been here a handful of times and have never not been disappointed by something- whether it's service, the food, or something being out of stock. Prices are crazy but they are everywhere, unfortunately Worcester restaurants are charging the same prices that places in Boston and Providence are, without having the quality food and drinks those establishments have. All of their desserts are sent to them, nothing is made there, so it is understandable that when they are sold out of something there is nothing they can do. The issue is that management isn't ordering the quantity they need to be, but they don't care because people are just ordering something else and spending the same as they would if they were able to order what they wanted. Some staff are very friendly, other times they barely check on you. Which is crazy because this isn't a normal restaurant and they're not dealing with a full kitchen or doing anything besides putting a cake on a plate or making a latte. Their drinks are meh and their special "hot chocolates" had whipped cream and tasted like Swiss Miss. A few weeks ago when I went I tried to order a savory dip but they didn't have it because they were out of the naan dippers they use for dipping. It would take servers less time to just verbally tell customers what they actually have in stock. There is no need to even provide menus or QR codes when you can't manage to buy enough containers of naan dippers from Shaws. Honestly, I would recommend getting a dessert from a local bakery, finding a recipe online for a buffalo chicken dip or getting one from a grocery store, making a swiss miss hot chocolate packet and...

Meraki is a really cute place for dessert and cocktails. I have visited a couple of times and have enjoyed live music, dessert and cocktails.

Last night I experienced a less than desirable customer service experience. Seeing that they do not offer food options on their menu I called to ask if I could bring outside food. The Meraki employee communicated to me outside food is okay. My intent was to partake with a party already there and order dessert and a cocktail after having a real bite to eat.

Upon arrival, I was not greeted and simply told I could not bring outside food into Meraki after uniting with my party. After I explained my due diligence and consideration prior to arriving with outside food at their establishment the manager continued to be unaccommodating. The manager apologized and informed me the staff was incorrect in their communication to me and that she went to the extent of texting the owner and verified no outside food was allowed.

As a customer I was left puzzled and caught off guard. It was evident the manager lacked empathy, understanding, and simple problem-solving skills to provide an immediate solution to an issue created by their establishment. I value the customer service I receive and treat people with respect. This was not reciprocated by Meraki’s staff last night. Definitely something to note for any future visits, especially when accompanied...

My friends and I had such a wonderful time at Meraki last night. The dessert bar is absolutely adorable! We sat at the bar where Sam was bartending. Sam is such a talented mixologist! We had the gin basil limeade, tiramisu martini, and a spicy melon margarita. Sam also mixed my friend a gin based drink that she loved! And the spicy melon margarita was the only margarita I have ever enjoyed! It was light, refreshing and perfectly balanced with the house made jalapeño infused tequila. We got a “trust the chef” dessert platter. Which was a mystery platter of 4 full size desserts for $40. The chef put together a plate that had something for everyone. It included tiramisu, salted caramel crunch cake, strawberry shortcake cheese cake, and a warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. We loved all of the desserts but the strawberry shortcake cheese cake was our favorite. But the best part of our night was Sam. She was absolutely a delight and perfected her craft. We happened to be there when she was creating a new peanut butter cup specialty drink and it was delicious. I will definitely be back and suggest you should go!

Food: we got the white chocolate cheesecake and it was very light on the sweetness, but still enough to fix it by craving for sweet. All the other desserts also taste pretty good. I would recommend the Keylime or the Ferrero cake. Service: the service was really attentive and kind. Chris was very helpful and making sure that we were having a good time. They do add gratuity if your party is more than six people, which I completely forgot that they added that so I ended up tipping more, which is no issue on my part, but that can be some thing that I wish they would tell more people about. Ambiance: it’s very chill environment, where you can sit down to have coffee, no matter what time it is. Location accommodation: it’s street parking which can be hard to find some and this place is pretty tiny so if you’re going with a decent amount of group, I would recommend calling ahead of time to let them know so they can accommodate the space.
