I ordered delivery on Sunday 5/11. The delivery was swift and the order placed carefully- but that's thanks to the door dash driver that fulfilled it.
I ordered seven donuts, and of seven donuts, three were not what I requested. The two strawberry shortcake I ordered were replaced with jelly donuts, and this was reflected on the receipt. Annoying, but I understand there aren't always all the options available, especially around noon. No one called me or checked in any way if a substitution could be made. The jelly donuts were also stale.
I don't even like jelly donuts, hence why I didn't order any.
The one cookies n cream donut I also ordered was replaced with a chocolate cake donut that had been absolutely plastered with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles. Usually the Oreo is white frosting, Oreo pieces, then a chocolate drizzle. This was not reflected on my receipt, which I've attached here. Again, no contact whatsoever about it, and this time it wasn't even shown as replaced like the strawberry shortcake ones were.
The donuts I did receive were pretty tasty- other than the stale jelly donuts. I think the maple bars were oversalted, but that doesn't mean they were lol.
I suppose I'd recommend ordering earlier in the day when they don't have to make substitutions to potentially mess up, and the donuts are...
Read moreHit or miss donuts. For the maple bacon glazed, bacon was crisp but on the line of burnt. Donut structure is dense, heavy, sweet, and not too yeasty, overall a very good base. Chocolate glazed and apple fritter were above average. The browned butter honey crueller was disappointing in that its main flavor was actually nutmeg, plus it was a bit dry.
Breakfast sandwiches are premade with microwaved egg, American cheese, and meat on their admittedly tasty rolls. Since it's premade the bread is not toasted and steamed soft from being wrapped up and kept in a heater. They're good for the cheap price, but other than the rolls are not that different from a fast food breakfast sandwich.
Coffee is okay. I was a little annoyed to see full coffee shop prices when it was actually a machine with buttons for cappuccinos and lattes rather than a person mixing drinks.
The line moved quickly, they had made plenty of donuts, and the staff were nice. A good donut shop but not worth planning your...
Read moreIâve been wanting to try this place as Iâve read thier many good reviews. I finally went here today and got 6 donuts $24 which seemed ridiculous to me considering they were just a lightly larger than normal size donut but I was still excited to taste the difference. Well Iâm sorry to report this but I must be one of the very few who donât understand the hype. The chocolate glazed donut was my first out of the 6 I tried and I was so disappointed that it wasnât moist little on dry side and didnât taste as fresh as you would expect for the price. IMO they may have better visual donut toppings than basic donut shop & have what are considered gourmet toppings but number of thier selection was awful and boring. Iâm not impressed at all and I wonât be going back. Iâm not paying for fancy boxes that donât even reflect the quality of the product meant to carry them and that arenât even high enough for some of thier toppings which got crushed when they...
