Short Review: I paid $20 where my experience was worth maybe $12-$14; The Chicken Fritters are lame, don't get them; Go to Wayback Burgers instead, they're less than 2 miles away/5 minutes away from this place.
Long Review: I ate here for the first time yesterday and I have to say, my experience wasn't very good. I ended up getting the Grafton Hill Burger ($11 w/ Angus Beef) and a small order of Chicken Tender Fritters ($9).
As a self-proclaimed burger lover, the burger was good, but there were a couple glaring flaws. The sandwich itself was cold to the touch and the buns they use are way better suited for a deli sandwich rather than a burger. At the very least, I could say that the patty itself was cooked very well and tasted very good, but the rest of the burger left something to be desired. The burger was $11, but I felt as though it was worth $8 or $9. I feel as though I could've gotten a better burger at Five Guys, Wayback Burgers, or even a college campus cafeteria.
As for the Chicken Fritters, don't even bother with them, they were a complete waste of money (and they're $9 for a SMALL). They were poorly seasoned and they were no better than KFC's popcorn chicken. If you ask me, the small should've been $4-5 and I should've gotten a large for $9.
Overall, everything was subpar. I walked out of the Worcester Market feeling disappointed, feeling as though the money I spent wasn't worth it. I much rather would've eaten at Wayback Burgers (which is just under 5 minutes/2 miles away from the Worcester Market, by the way). I payed $20 for everything at the Worcester Burger Bah where I felt like my experience was worth $12-$14. I didn't even get a drink because individually, they were priced at $3 for a 12 oz. of soda and almost every other place in the Worcester Market has drinks for less than $3. I would've gotten something that tasted way better for an equal, if not cheaper price at Wayback Burgers.
I think The Burger Bah could improve by making their prices more affordable, including cheese on every burger, getting different buns and mildly toasting them, and seasoning the Chicken Fritters better. I probably won't eat here again unless they make big changes, but if I do, I will try the fries and get a different burger and update this review...
Read moreFirst off Chris and Jonathan are fantastic. Their service and food was incomparable. I had to go and thank them after eating my burger because it was so good.
I did the build your own burger, choosing Angus beef with American cheese, crispy onions, mushrooms and burger bah sauce with a side order of fries for $14.50. When you realize you'd be spending around the same price for a fast food meal, it just doesn't even compare to Burger Bah's quality and service for the price.
If you like a burger with some char on it, go here 1000%. Every bite has that great crunch from the char and the burger was cooked perfectly in the middle with a little pink. They give you what feels like a literal pound of fries with your order and they are very crispy and delicious.
I will be back over and over again not just for the food, but for how nice and welcoming Chris and Johnathan were. Can't wait to eat the food again. I'm gonna...
Read moreMy daughter's a " Clarkie" and always tells me about her dining finds. So instead of my ole staple of hot dogs from George's, I decided to run and gun here. I'll make the effort to sit and take everything thing at a slower place next time. The VERMONTER was great, perfect balance of the maple mayo, fresh pressed bacon and cheese, . I added pickles. Not a big mayo aficionado anyway, but the maple and smoked bacon combo was tasty, the roll was from a local bakery so I want to find out so I can get some for home. Light and flaky doesn't load you up and takes away from burger flavors.
I'm currently off fries by choice, so next time, probably their onion rings since they looked hand done and not bagged.
Great, hard working and friendly staff believing in what their making, servicing and representing.
Ask for extra napkins, you'll need them.
Wicked ' good...
