Capri Pizza — Restaurant in Worth Township

After having an out of this world experience at the Capri Italian restaurant, my family and I thought we’d give their pizza place a try. Well!!! I ordered for pickup and when I arrived I was told the delivery driver had taken my pizza to another customer. The man at the counter called the drive and asked that he pick he “get it back.” He then apologized to me and said he’s make me another pizza and have it delivered. When the delivery guy arrived I asked if the pizza was remade and he didn’t know. Of all people, he should know if he went back to the restaurant to pick up the pizza I was promised over a handshake. What kind of business is willing to jeopardize a relationship with a paying customer even after I told them to their face just how much I enjoyed my experience at their sister restaurant? Is it really worth losing a customer for life? A pizza was in someone else’s house and you took it back to give to someone else!!! This deserves to be reported to the health department now that I think of it.

The spinach was wilted and the pizza was not hot indicating it was not made again as promised over a handshake. I still stand by the positive review I posted for the Capri Italian restaurant, but due to the poor experience I had at Capri Pizza, neither will get another dime of mine.

I ordered a pizza, side of mushrooms and Caesar's salad. Overall, pizza was on the dry side. Crust was crispy and chewy. It could have had more toppings, but based on price point, I got what I paid for. Mushrooms were amazing and for the price, you get a lot. Caesar's salad? Don't waste your money. Doesn't look anything like the photo. Basically, lettuce with 10 small croutons. The parm cheese was from a can and not shaved. Definitely not worth $13. I’ve eaten at the restaurant many times and it’s always delicious… the pizza is no different.. the traditional crust is as close to NY style you will find around here and the thin is top notch as well.. appetizers were big and delicious and priced right.
