This place is a total mess, rude staff or under staffed, late orders, low quality food. One of the worst chipotles I’ve ever had to deal with. Really sucks cause it’s the closest chipotle to me. Been in here multiple times and the staff yell at customers for standing in the wrong spot. Today it happened to me because my toe was over the tile line into the kitchen while I asked a question to the staff. The people that work here are either straight up rude or have really bleak personalities that are tough to interact with. Management needs change something. Sitting here it’s 7:40, my order was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. Bet I’ll leave and get home to realize an item is missing from the bag, wouldn’t be the first time. 0/10 avoid this place at all costs. You have been warned. Thanks for reading. Still no food. .. 7:45… tik tok tik tok. Yeah I’m hangry, what about it? 😂
Edit You CANNOT make this stuff up. I ordered tacos and two STEAK quesadillas right. Guess what I find when I get home? These sad undercooked quesadillas with nothing but some cheese that didn’t even have a chance to melt yet. No steak, no nothing. Mind you, I checked the bag before leaving, it was all there. Am I supposed to open each items and check for correct ingredients too? I blew a fuse. Jumped in the car and straight back to America’s worst chipotle we go. I go to the front of the line, explain my issue and frustrations (as calmly as possible while trying not to explode). These people don’t even know what to say… they look at me like I’m an alien…. “Ok, wait a minute” says one of the cooks. Then he proceeds to take care of everyone else in line before addressing my issue. I calmly wait for my turn and fixed food. 8:15pm: I’m finally on my way home with the steak quesadillas I wanted. No free cup of water or a soda while I waited. Guy said sorry when he handed me the bag, that was as far as the customer service went. These people don’t care, ruined my night, wasted my time, and now I don’t want to show face in there for a while cause of the all the ruckus (and possibly getting confronted about this novel of a review)BUT THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW!!! Chipotle is bomb, but this place ain’t it. L, after L, after L with this place tonight. Considering suing for emotional damages. Revised rating -10/10 I’d rather eat cardboard than let these people give me more brain damage. Save yourself, get the McDouble value meal instead. Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. I just got FOOD POISONING from eating here. On November 17, 2024 I ordered a chicken burrito bowl. After my chicken, rice and beans was placed in the bowl, I moved over to the vegetable counter and they began taking the order of the person behind me. The lady behind me wanted queso cheese and asked "What is that in the cheese?". The employee behind the counter ignored her. I looked over at the cheese and it was a foreign object in it. The lady behind me asked again, "What is that inside the cheese?" She was ignored again. And at that point the employees attitude changed from rude to extremely rude. Her tone was nasty and she didn't even give the lady 1/2 spoon of chicken. I watched the employee take her hand and remove what was in the cheese which looked like a lid to a cup or to go container. After she removed the object, she scooped the cheese out and put it on the lady's bowl. I was totally shocked that prior to the lady asking for cheese, they were continuously making burritos reaching over the queso with a foreign object in as if they didn't see anything sticking out of it. They continued to serve without discarding the cheese and replacing it. Meanwhile, the entire time, I was in line silently asking myself if I wanted to eat here. It was 8PM, I was tired and hungry so I justified keeping my order by thinking I didn't get any queso so I should be okay. The employee behind the counter was extremely rude to the lady behind me. I'm assuming it was because she asked more than once what was in the cheese. The employee stopped making the lady's order behind me and walked to the register and rang my order. The name on my receipt said Vanessa so I'm assuming that was her name. Vanessa then went back to making the lady's food without changing her gloves. The lady behind me told her she was extremely rude and that she hoped the rest of her day would be better. Vanessa rolled her eyes at her. The lady then said she did not want her order. Vanessa snatched the bowl and walked towards the trash and threw it in the garbage. After I went home and ate my food, I immediately got sick (about 1 1/2 hours later) and I've been horribly ill for days. I'd only had oatmeal for breakfast that morning and that was more than 8 hours prior to consuming the Chipotle. I have been "SICK - SICK - SICK" for 4 days and will NEVER eat from this restaurant again. I fault myself because I should've left after seeing something in the queso but...
Read moreIgnoring my better judgement of probably 12 years of avoiding Chipotle, I decided to run to the Oak Lawn location tonight, there were maybe 6 employees in the restaurant, when I walked in to the restaurant I stood at the counter waiting to for someone, anyone to take my order and was ignored by all employees until one young man who seemed to be busy cleaning up noticed me and came over to take my order, granted it appeared some of them were cleaning up, mostly only 2 were, and there was 1 woman worker who seemed to be basically following around one of the young men while he worked having a conversation while she was laughing and using vulgarity as if I wasn’t standing waiting at the counter of a business (I’m glad someone was enjoying themselves while I stood there trying to pay for my dinner), there were 2 other women employees standing at a counter directly next to the main register going over online orders and their closing check list, while the young man made me my burrito and then put it up by the counter, I wait for a pretty long period of time where I’m literally not even 4’ away from the two women employees going over their closing check list who at times don’t even have their back to me who I’m now just assuming were ignoring me while I’m standing at the register a few feet from them waiting to pay and then hear them about to go to dump the tea so I say “wait on that! I’d like to have some of that, after I get to pay for my food that’s sitting right here, on the counter..”
That’s when they finally acknowledge me and decide to finally ring me up, where then I ask to add a bag of chips and salsa and I’m told that out of the maybe 20 bags of chips available on the counter shelf to the left of the registerer are “online only” so I pause and ask “you can’t sell me one bag of the chips that are literally on that counter to be sold?” Once again to be met with “no, these are online only.”
I decide to grab a business card at the register and after I turn around and head to the tea dispenser I hear “he took one of those cards from the up there.” Yes, you’re right, Sweetheart, this transaction warrants me a valid complaint.
I decided to write this after I drive home the only 2 blocks that I have to and realize my burrito is absolutely ice cold.
I should have stuck to my better judgement.
