If i could give this place zero stars i would. Their service is horrible. I Placed an online order was told I'd have to wait an additional 10 min for chicken. It was empty so i figured I'd wait so I said okay since it was only 10 min, WRONG!! 10 TURNED INTO 25 MIN. And thats not including the 15 min i already waited after i placed the order. As i sat there i heard someone walk in asking for the same chicken i was waiting for. Apparently it was done and they decided to serve her first instead of someone who had been waiting for so long. The girl behind the counter already knew my name and she even called my name when she finally packed up my order. She was about to hand me the order when she looked at me and said you have to show me your name on your order?? Mind you ive ordered before and no one has asked that. Not to mention all the people picking up orders were never asked this as they all walked past me. I asked her if she was serious then showed her my email. She said that was it and i left. I checked the order in the car and of course something was missing. The same girl stared at me as i walked in and as i stood in line again i looked at her and told her what was missing. My item was just sitting on the dirty counter and she giggled and said oops and gave it to me. None of my food was very warm except for the chicken. Chow mein was almost cold and spring rolls were barely warm. Paid extra for the shrimp since its suppose to be a fancy side and the container wasn't even filled all the way. It was only 3/4 of the way filled. Everyone in this location is too busy talking to each other about personal things. Maybe if they focused on their jobs they wouldnt have so many unhappy customers. The restaurant definitely wasn't cleaned either and a guy behind the counter sneezed and didnt cover his mouth and just sneezed in the open. They dont wear gloves or wash hands inbetween touching food and working the register....
Read moreHello I would like to report and incident in which occurred at Panda Express in Oaklawn, Illinois. As i walked in the store to place and order I asked a waiter by the name of Alicia for 1 tray, and 2 large trays. She put noodles in the tray and passed the order over to a waiter named Paulina and never explained to Paulina what was going on. As Paulina began to fix my order she became confused as to what I was still waiting on and i said excuse me to Alicia and asked her if she had indeed told Paulina what I ordered because Paulina was confused. Alicia just looked at me and turned away with no concern as to what just happened. I felt totally disrespected. I have never been treated with such disrespect, Alicia walked away for the second time after this and shrugged her shoulders as if she did not care nor was trying to listen to me trying to explain to her Paulina needed help. She just left the young lady there hanging and walked away. As i was leaving I asked her what was her name and she turned to me and said does it matter, before I got confrontational with her I just walked out of the store and went home and started writing this letter. Employees should be trained with skills to provide dignity and respect to the customers who pay their salaries, our purchases keep these businesses open and we do not deserve to be like this.
This is not then end of this I will not tolerate disrespect like this while I have done nothing wrong but tried to purchase food for my children. I am a licensed food inspector and I could have easily wrote this incident up if I was on duty. Workers look at customers and never realize who they are speaking with, There was a young man there who tried to assist after he noticed that Paulina was having a hard time with the order. I am just flabbergasted as to how out people treat each other, where is the equality there is to much hate...
Read moreOld Review: My boyfriend and I love this location! The wait time is rarely ever too long. Today however there was a bit of a wait but the workers sincerely apologized and offered us free drinks as compensation. Very good customer service and the food was served fresh!
New Review: I had an extremely unpleasant experience here on May 30th 2019. I’ve been to this location a lot and other locations and I’ve never had an experience as bad as this. There was a long line for the drive-thur and I had to wait an extra five minutes for the beijing beef. Of course this isn’t a problem as I know the staff cannot control this. However, the women at the drive-thur window tells me to park in the second row next to the van, and I even double check with her to make sure I know where she is talking about. Then about five minutes later a women comes out with food and is looking around for a car. She looks very confused and goes to the wrong car at first. Then I stepped out of my car and asked her if it was the meal with the beijing beef. She came over and yelled at me, saying I parked in the wrong spot and that’s why she couldn’t find me. I tried to explain to her that the women in the window told me to park here and she just ignored me and said I should have parked where the lines are next to the handicap spot and walked away. She did not even bother to apologize. On top of that, they forgot to give me my teriyaki sauce on the side. There is clearly a lack of communication within your employees and a lack of customer service now at this location.
After making a complaint through Panda Express’s website, the manager of this location did reach out to me and addressed my concerns. He said he would certainly find out which employee behaved in such a way and address it, which I do appreciate. I do hope to have a better experience the...
