Poor Dog Inc — Restaurant in Worth Township

I was optimistic to try them out based on the rave reviews. I took one bite of the Italian beef and my taste buds quickly realized that familiar taste.... overcooked beef which literally tastes like Italian rubber..the pizza puff was blah. Well, at least I tried for myself. My taste buds are of high quality. Some people will eat anything and swear it's the bomb. I don't think so. I don't get drunk or high. So, believe me I know how good food is supposed to taste. I would not recommend the Italian beef, pizza puff, or cheese fries... nothing was great. The place did seem clean and tidy. My Poor Money gone down...

They have really good food and fast service. It's holding it's own in a spot that has not worked for many businesses. I think that they are surviving due to word of mouth. It looks like just another hot dog stand, but they have quit the variety of salads, sandwiches and sides. Once you have eaten there, you want to return and try the rest of the menu. They don't spend much money on decorating and it's frequented by the high school kids, but the food will keep you...

The service is friendly and fast. The staff is very helpful, respectful, and efficient. The restaurant is clean and reminds me of the diner across from my school. The milk shakes are divine and you can choose what size you'd like. Also try the Patty Melt. The bread, the burgers and the grilled onions are cooked to perfection.
