Wolf's Bakery — Restaurant in Worth Township

ALL THESE YEARS OF SEEING THIS BAKERY ESPECIALLY MY YEARS OF ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL CLOSE BY AND NEVER STOPPING IN ONCE. HUGE STAPLE IN THE AREA AND HAS BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS, THIS BAKERY SHOP. DECIDED TO GO IN TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME 12/09/23 AND I AM GLAD I DID COME IN. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN, KIND OF PACK BUT PLENTY OF WORKERS TO SERVE THE SATURDAY, HOLIDAY RUSH, PLENTY OR VARIETY OF PASTRIES TO CHOSE FROM. MY SERVER WAS HELPFUL AND I DECIDED TO BUY THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COFFEE CAKE (YUM) AND VARIETY OF CHRISTMAS COOKIES (YUM - AGAIN). THE CAKE SOFT, MOISTE, SLIGHTLY BUTTERY, NOT TOO SWEET THE ICING THAT IS AND PLENTY OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS. THE COOKIES WERE THE SAME BUTTERY, SOFT AND NOT TOO SWEET. MAN I CANNOT BELIEVE IT TOOK ME THIS MANY YEARS TO STOP IN, WELL I WILL BE BACK, TRUSTS ME!!

12/30/23 THE CASHIER HAD A WHATEVER OMG ATTITUDE BUT ON ALL THE OTHER VISITS BEFORE THE HELPERS WERE EXTREMELY NICE AND FAMILIAR LOOKING. 😂. A RUN DOWN ON THEIR BAKE GOODS BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS OFF THE CHAIN. CHOCOLATE CHIP COFFEE CAKE WAS MOIST BUT THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS FOR ME WERE TOO SWEET. LOVE THEIR COOKIES PLAIN COFFEE CAKE ROLL WAS THE BESTS PUTS A CERTAIN STORE BOUGHT COFFEE CAKE BRAND TO SHAME. BOUGHT A TWISTED GLAZED DOUGHNUT THAT WAS HUGE I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PICTURE. Used to frequent this bakery but recently was treated poorly by a staff member. My family & I come here often and typically will buy items for each other. Sometimes certain flavors of danishes are sold out. Therefore, we call each other when there to inform the other person of what options are left. I’ve never had any issue being on the phone to gather my order. I stand away from the counter when I’m not ready to order.

Friday I was stared down by one of the elderly woman staff. I stepped up to the counter a bit confused as I told the previous worker I was not ready to order. I said “hi” and she replied to me “Should i wait until you’re done?” With a very unpleasant tone. Still confused, i said “im sorry?” to which she replied “should i wait until you’re done with your call to take the order?” still with an unpleasant tone and look. I informed her I was on a call getting an order and she said “well its hard for us to get your order when you’re on the phone”. I was confused as I was not standing at the counter ready to order and I specifically told a staff member before her that i was NOT ready yet. I felt unwelcome from the moment I walked in. Perhaps I was met with this poor customer service due to the color of my skin. Seems as there has been a shift in attitude as a new president has...

WOW!!

I’ve been dying to go but never make it before/after work. But I’m on summer break so when I was out running errands I knew I had to stop.

Walked in and overwhelmed with great options! To your right you have an assortment of small cookies! You make your way to grab a number because believe me it gets busy. As I was waiting for my number to be called I started chatting with a gentleman about what he lives here…guess his answer? EVERYTHING!! But most of all the Lemon Fluff Cake! So I tested their Lemon Fluff Cupcake, a glazed pretzel (which is a regular glazed donut), and their Lemon Bar.

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS…there goes pretzel is one of the best I’ve had in this area. Soft and sweet! The lemon bar was a nice cake with layers of lemon marmalade in the middle, DELICIOUS! But the Lemon Fluff Cake, I’ve never had anything like it! The cake was moist, the fluff was so soft and tasty! Another lady in there told me I’ll be back tomorrow after I try my items…DAMN IT sure was right!! I already have ideas for my next visit!

A man there order a pineapple fluff cake and says when he comes to visit from Louisiana, he stops to bring it back with him!

Don’t wait on this place! I wish I started going when I moved to this area...
