Im excited to share my experience at Latitudes this evening. While I do have vast experience in the restaurant world, my critiquing will be extremely fair. The remodel-stunning. What an amazing job. However, the well in the atrium...painful. Watching the bar staff make drinks was nothing shy of painful. It is so poorly designed that I cant imagine it being done on purpose. However, that is about the most negative thing I have to say. There were entirely way too many people working behind that small bar but thats typical of new establishments, over staff until you figure it out. Service was excellent, Beth and Carissa were both very excited to welcome us and give us a great experience. They were knowledgeable and tenured and were great. The hostess that brought us to the table was so sweet stating it was her first restaurant and was so excited to be a part of something so big and new. I wanted to warn her to run from the industry but felt things are better left learned some times. Lol. The drinks were made well and were nice n stiff. Typical price for boujee places around Wyandotte. The food.... The food came out a lot faster than anticipated. Mind you, we had no expectations, its a brand new restaurant! But. The food came out timely, actually relatively quickly. We did only order apps and small plates so keeping that in mind, our sushi dragged but that's typical. We got the Sticky Ribs, Burrata cheese, Cubano Fritters and Cayo Huesco sushi in tacos. Sticky ribs-these were falling off the bones tender, cooked absolutely amazingly. I could not put my finger on what was missing, it needed something, this is me being super ultra critical. It needed more brown sugar and soy. It drove me crazy thinking about what it needed and thats what I ended on, just a little more sweet and salty. Cubano Fritters- sauce...whatever the bed of sauce was, serve that on the side please. These were cooked excellently! Timing on These need to be precise otherwise youre cooking the insides right out but cmon...give me sauce!!!!! I did not want to run the bar back for more sauce! Sushi Tacos- These dragged but we're coming from the raw bar so completely understandable! 10/10 but again...SAUCE! They absolutely needed soy sauce, maybe even some spicy mayo but 100% soy sauce. We got some and they were perfect! Delicate and delightful! Burrata- I saved the burrata for last because it was my least favorite. In all honesty without the strawberries it was much better, the strawberries make it too sweet and too desserty. I hated the strawberries and felt blistered tomatoes and some coarse sea salt would have elevated this dish so much. Kill the strawberries. They're a pain in the ass to keep anyways. Add some balsamic glaze and we're talking. All in all for the 3rd day open to the public with a 550 seating capacity and being about 90% full, it was a great starting experience. Consistency is key and if they stay consistent, you'll keep people happy and coming in regularly. For those of you with complaints, email or message first before leaving a poor review, restaurants at this scale need time to get it right, based on my experience, it won't take much time at all!!! The music!!! The Carribean drum was amazing!!! Was perfect ambient sound! Loved it!! Thank u for having us!

What an absolute delight discovering Latitudes last week! I can’t stop thinking about the mouth watering key lime pie, cheesecake, and the INCREDIBLE key lime pie cocktail!! It was truly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, they even used fresh key limes from Florida! “The Parker House” rolls with honey butter and Michigan cherry jam (and locally sourced!!) were out of this world and such a perfect start to the meal. I also loved the bluefin tuna crudo and the Michigan salad with grilled salmon. Everyone tasted fresh and delicious. What started as a simple lunch turned into a six hour affair because we enjoyed ourselves so much. The entire staff, especially Brenda and Elaina, were incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience super special for my family. A huge shout-out to Chef Alan, whose farm-to-table approach and dedication to quality really is gonna make this restaurant stand out (it just opened one week ago). He even took the time to meet us and share some insights into his ingredients and process, which was very kind. And on one side of the restaurant, there’s a sushi bar with beautifully, freshly prepared sushi rolls, adding another delightful dimension to the experience. The location is also unbeatable, with stunning river views that you can enjoy whether you’re inside or out on the patio. I really recommend grabbing a seat outside and sipping on that fabulous key lime cocktail while taking in the view. This area is truly lucky to have a gem like Latitudes, and my friends, family, and I will definitely be returning. Five stars all around!

The newest 500 seating waterfront spot in Wyndotte, and let me tell you — this place is making serious waves. The atmosphere hits that perfect sweet spot with nautical touches that don’t feel overdone. I got the Fish & Chips, it was crispy, golden perfection on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside — this fish and chips dish hits all the right notes. The batter is light yet crunchy, giving way to fresh, moist white fish that tastes like it came straight off the dock. Paired with thick-cut fries that are fluffy in the center and just the right amount of salty, it’s a classic comfort done right. A side of tangy tartar sauce. Simple, satisfying, and worth every bite. The dessert we got was their Cheesecake Brulee, crème brûlée cheesecake is a decadent mashup of two dessert legends — and it absolutely delivers. The silky, rich cheesecake base melts in your mouth, perfectly balanced with vanilla notes and a hint of tang. On top, the caramelized sugar crust adds that signature crack and toasty sweetness, giving each bite a satisfying contrast of textures. Had a Red Wine Blueberry Jam with it and OMG it was elegant, indulgent, and dangerously addictive. A must-try for dessert lovers who want the best of both worlds.

Came here to have lunch and check the place out to see if we wanted to have my daughter’s upcoming birthday dinner here next month. Lots of negative reviews posted recently so wanted to come myself to try it. Atmosphere is very nice, atrium dining area is beautiful and the outside patio seating and chair area is also beautiful. Great atmosphere for a nice dinner. Food was average, not bad, not good. To sum the rest of it up: • Waitress had no clue about almost anything on the menu. Had to run back and ask the cook several questions. The menu should be known by waitress for the most part and not have to leave multiple times to check. • Menu is limited and didn’t have a basic linguini or seafood pasta that you’d want at a waterside restaurant but did have a strong pesto gnocchi dish which is limiting to some guests • Expensive side salad that I ordered came out AFTER my entree. Typically people want their salads before the entree and other recent reviews also included this complaint. The house salad with sherry vinaigrette when brought was just a gigantic overly filled bowl of mixed lettuce with bland dressing and one huge chunk of a wilted looking tomato which STILL HAD PART OF THE PRODUCE STICKER ON IT. Glad I didn’t eat that piece. Not the end of the world but for an expensive upscale restaurant that this place portrays, the tomatoes should be washed and stickers peeled before serving don’t ya think • Kids meal didn’t include the drink like most places. So I was charged for two lemonades even though the kids cup was a quarter of the size of a regular glass. Also, ordered the kids cheeseburger and it was a plain thin patty with the tiniest bit of melted cheese. I had to ask for lettuce and tomato which should automatically be served with it just like the adult menu cheeseburger. •Gnocchi pesto dish had large hard green chunks of what I initially thought was the hard raw ends of large asparagus pieces but turns out they are the bottom ends of broccoli stems (waitress asked the chef) — not only are those flavorless but they were raw and super hard to chew. Like I was chewing a bamboo stick. Not sure if they’re trying to be unique but maybe try asparagus tips or something else. Horrible idea. • After reviewing the check, noticed I was overcharged for the appetizer as the menu said one price but the check had another. When I showed the waitress she said “hmm let me ask” and returned and told me “sorry, you were accidentally charged for the dinner price instead of the lunch menu price even though it’s the same thing” …. So they up the prices for the same appetizers after 4 pm because it’s “dinner” but it’s the same portion. I also shouldn’t have to check and correct the prices on the bill. So make sure to review your check when you come here • Manager came around asking both tables next to us how everything was but skipped right past us for some reason •Waitress took the check with my card and disappeared for a good ten minutes. I was past ready to go and had an appt after on top of it. The waitress came and brought the check to the next table over within two minutes. I’m like did she pass out? Was she shopping with my card? Did she go on break? Why take ten minutes to run a card and leave people waiting. Rude.

Overall, I’d go back to sit outside and try the Michigan salad with chicken or salmon but that’s about it. Place could benefit from a few more options on the menu as well. Spent $115 for a starter, a kids meal with no drink, and two people and it was just average. Def not worth the price tag except for the views if...

My wife and I went there tonight for dinner 8-14 - 2025 WOW Very disappointing the atmosphere was wonderful. The wait staff was very good.

Food was pricey and for the quality and proportion size I wouldn’t go back we had a fish dip chips which sucked. They gave us chips with it and they were so greasy we couldn’t even eat them garbage for $15 bucks

The peel on eat shrimp were good 1/2 lb not worth $15 bucks

The fish and chips were so greasy and the fish was so thin It was like eating a hunk of batter and hardly any fish in it that was terrible.

The salmon was OK but very small for $30 And nowhere near worth $30 they give you a little dab of whatever it laid or and it wasn’t even any good and everything else was àlacart unreal our bill was $150 and it was terrible never going back for there food maybe for drinks and that’s it.

They need to improve their food quality a lot and their prices are ridiculous. PRICING Should be SALMON $24.95 8oz

FISH DIP $10 with a choice of crackers or pita bread, not greasy chips.

FISH AND CHIPS $16

SALADS $12 NOT A DAB

PEEL AND EAT 1LB $20.00

Sorry there are a lot of restaurants with a lot better food and a lot cheaper if you wanna pay $150 to look at the river, I would go somewhere else.

I understand restaurants have a lot of overhead, but when you start charging ridiculous prices, and the food quality is terrible. You will not last long even though you have a nice atmosphere. Keep your prices a little bit lower and your food quality higher and you will be much more successful in the future. Good luck. GOOD LUCK YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE THE WAITRESSES PUT DOWN A REVIEW SHEET ON THE FOOD ATMOSPHERE SERVICE, ETC. MAY BE A BIG HELP...
