Pancho's II Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Wyandotte

This place is HORRIBLE! I went to the Wyandotte location after not having eaten there in at least 12 years. There was only one table occupied when I walked in. The server was moping the floor when I walked in, and looked annoyed that I was even there 2 hours & 50 minutes before they closed. She took her time greeting my table. Brought chips and salsa without even washing her hands after handling a mop & a bucket of mop water. The entire place now wreaked of pine-sol, which was very off-putting in a place where people are trying to eat. I said NOTHING about that.

I had questions since it had been years since I dined there. She seemed annoyed with that, even though the only other table of guests they had there were already served their entrees & were well into eating. I ordered steak fajitas, tacos & 1 enchilada ala cart. I was ordering two meals for my son & I to share. I noticed the menu on their website did not reflect the same prices in-house. It was the more affordable prices online that drew me there in the first place instead of Mexican Gardens, which is where we usually go. I politely inquired about the price difference, this seemed to annoy her even more.

When I asked if their enchilada sauce was red or green, she said "It's a red oil". I found that odd, but decided to try it anyway since it was just a single enchilada. She wasn't lying about the "red oil"...it was more of a red grease. The entire enchilada was soaked in it. When the food came I tried a fajita first. I've never seen red fajitas before. It looked like the steak & veggies were cooked in the same red oil/grease as the enchilada. They were completely red. The tacos came out with literally one piece of tomato on one taco, and two pieces on the other two tacos. Yes, five pieces of diced tomatoes for three tacos. I tried the enchilada first, all I could taste was the red grease it was soaked in. I tried a fajita, thinking this would be better. All you could taste was the red grease it was cooked in, no seasoning. The steak in the fajita was grizzle & fat, very unappetizing, & I had a hard time biting my fajita without tearing it apart; between the poor quality of the meat that I was fighting to bite through, & the red grease soaking the bottom of my flour tortilla.

When she came by the table, I politely asked her to just take the fajitas off the bill since they were inedible and I had only taken one bite. I even started the sentence with "I'm sorry...". I also mentioned the lack of tomatoes on the tacos, thinking she'd say something to the effect of "yeah, that does look a bit light, I'll bring you some more". Her reply -"Yeah, that's how they do it". She did not offer to bring more. I asked if I could have a few more pieces of tomato, she rolled her eyes, brought a full side of tomatoes and slammed them on the table as she walked by, without saying a word. I still kept my mouth shut.

When the food first arrived, I wondered why the beans had so many black flecks/flakes in them, but again, I said nothing. After finally tasting them, I realized they were scorched. Upon her final visit to the table, she brought boxes. I asked if I was being charged for the tomatoes she brought, she said yes, I told her I was not paying for tomatoes that should have been a sufficient amount on the tacos in the first place. Her reply - "That's fine, just don't come back here again". My reply - "You'll NEVER have to worry about that"!

I've been a server for 30+ years, I treat servers with respect, dignity & kindness, as I see them as one of 'my own'. This girl was the most disrespectful, condescending, rude server I've ever encountered. If I had treated one of our guests the same way at the establishment I work for, I'd be fired on the spot! And rightfully so! I paid my bill & was asked at the register if I'd like to leave a tip on the card...I couldn't help but laugh as I walked out.

I would not even give one star if that were possible. The food was very quick, an i mean quick (possibly 5 mins) to the point it was questionable how it was even cooked properly. I have to say both our meals were at the table before we even ate half the chips they brought with the salsa. I had ordered the Steak Norento which was described as a delmonico steak with melted cheese, grilled onion and grilled green peppers. What i recieved however looked more like a large strip of beef jerky it was tough and outer ridges were dry and absolutely inedible. The cheese was thicker than the steak abd not fully melted, my onion and green pepper were not grilled in any manner both were very crunchy and there was about a half an inch of what seemed like water and grease the meal was laying in. I literally only took two bites an when the waitress returned only to say our check would be waiting at the register, she never bothered to ask why i hardly touched my food, or if everything was even okay. At that point my dinner partner asked for a refill on his soda that had been empty since about half way through his meal an she just walked away never to return with the refill. It would have been nice to recieve a check at the table so i could look over my order, charges and have the amount ready by the time i got to the register. I have to say i am really disappointed, and probably will not...

Completely DISGUSTED with the way my mom was treated over the phone today. She went in this evening to place a carry out order. She asked the woman who took her order if the botana had chorizo in it and was informed that it did. My mom placed an order for tacos ala carte, a botana and a super burrito. One bite of the botana and the taste was completely off, it tasted like the beans were spoiled and there was absolutely no chorizo on the botana nor in the beans. My brother said the burrito tasted horrible and the tacos were no where near authentic. My mom called to let them know how dissatisfied we were and to get a refund for the awful food that has now made us sick to our stomach but we was hung up on. She called back and a man answered the phone and rudely shouted at my mom over the phone saying "WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ?! WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO, REMAKE YOUR ORDER?!"

If someone & their family is feeling sick to their stomach after eating your food, you don't treat them like that, there's NO EXCUSE! I will make sure that all friends and family know not to eat at this place, not only for their displeasing food but for their lack of compassion and...
