GringoDog's Dog House — Restaurant in Wyoming

I was really really hoping this was going to be good. The location is an old dirty-ish building. The lot is very run down. I believe there has been a handful of smaller restaurants in this building over the past several years.

The food: I ordered two chili cheese dogs. The quality and taste identical to what you would get at a gas station. But not quite as good, Unfortunately. There are a handful of areas within a couple mile radius of this place where their hot dogs are impressively good and actually cheaper.

The service: It was just a one man band so orders take a little while and is not very efficient but He was nice and professional.

I I really wanted to like this place. But I would be crazy to give it another opportunity or to refer anyone to give it a shot Just on quality, taste, And experience alone. Not to mention, there are several other restaurants in this area that have way better hotdog and for much...

Wanted to try this place a few months ago - pulled in on a Sat at least 30 minutes after their open time & they asked if I could come back in 1/2 hour b/c they weren't ready to serve food yet. ? I don't live in the area so, no. I was in the area today at lunchtime so I thought I'd give it another shot.

I got the Windy City Dog $7.00, a Pronto Pup $2.00 & a sm fry $2.25 Pronto Pup was hot, crispy & was very close (but not quite) like the GH PP location. Fries, which I'm very picky about - were hot, crispy & perfectly seasoned. If you like skinny fries, crispy on the outside & fluffy potato on the inside - these are for you!! My Windy City dog fell short however. The bun & the actual dog itself were ice cold. And mind you, I pulled into a lot across the street to eat while the food was fresh.

I love to get a dog from the downtown cart but I'm not sure I'd come back to the doghouse. But I wouldn't tell someone...

So I randomly ran into a hotdog stand on Friday night and I was not only surprised they were there considering the hour, since everything else was closed but they were delicious. Spoken to the owner briefly and learned about the drive through so we went to try it out. Outstanding!!!

In today's world where we all question what's in our food, you can't beat the butcher's real all beef hot dog. Home made chilli and I was told in house buns and other breads are coming soon.

Just fenomenal and modestly priced.

I will definitely be stopping by on regular basis to support them and can strongly recommend.
