It was alright. Was excited to try this place out because it’s definitely different than any other place in Xenia at the moment. Came with a friend. Got the California roll and the Philadelphia roll and they were certainly both on the small side but they were good enough (what I would call good average sushi). Service was a bit curt - borderline rude honestly, sort of felt like we were being rushed along. And I got a cup of the miso soup which was quite cold (honestly not luke warm, cold). Was torn between 3-4 stars but decided to settle on 4 cuz the rolls themselves really were fine.

New Japanese restaurant in Xenia, Ohio. Dinners come with Japanese style soup, salad with house specialty dressing. Sushi included, tempura battered vegetables, tempura shrimp, & of course a tender portion of steak, pre sliced, for easy consumption. Very tasty fried rice may be substituted for the included steamed rice. Nicely presented on a Japanese style partioned rectangular plate. A limited variety of Sushi, both raw & cooked are available. Many appetizers & sides available. Skip the fast food & the ordinary for something a little unique.

They serve hibachi but do not cook it in front of you which is ok with me. The fried rice is excellent and is very similar to my mom's who is Thai. The hibachi chicken and steak are not overcooked and tough like at some places, and the meat is full of flavor. My husband thinks the miso soup has the best flavor out of all restaurants of this type. I agree it is very good and has a rich meaty tasting broth. The lo mein noodles could use some extra flavor, but overall it is very good and dining area is always clean.

I feel like this place is okay but not exactly the best sushi I've ever had. The miso soup needs a bit more seasoning. I also feel like the sauce they provide with the fried oysters don't really pair well & the raw fish isn't as fresh as I'd like but, I do believe they are fair with the price. I spent $23.19 on this meal of a sushi roll, fried oysters, miso soup & green tea and I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I was quite full afterwards.
