Disappointed. This restaurant wouldn't do as well if it wasn't for the fact the Seafood options in Yakima are limited. Tonight was terrible and wont be going back. The service was awful...well I should specify...our waitress was awful. I saw another server who was very charming, attentive and did a nice job of checking in on his tables that were seated next to and around us (refills, small talk, answering menu questions etc)... We however had a different server who was not friendly... couldn't muster a smile...and we even thanked her several times being polite after her taking our orders or bringing salads. she never reciprocated even the most basic manners. She dissapeared thruout our dinner, but before our dinner arrived our drink glasses were empty. Thought for sure she would refill them when she brought dinner but that didnt happen. I made a point to leave my glass towards the end of the table she would see IF she ever came back by. She finally did...but walked right past it and us. Never got refills. The food wasn't good either. My salmon was cold in the center...really cold and the rice pilaf was actually undercooked and crunchy. Broccoli may as well been raw. Didnt even get the common "how is everything tasting" question. I could look past the food being off its game tonight if at least service was pleasant. But to have poor attitude, eye rolls, rude manorisoms and then just no service sure ruins ones dinner date. We always leave a tip always at least 15% even when service is not that great or maybe slow. But this time I didnt...I couldn't justify paying someone with the lack of manners she had...and honestly did such a bad job. First time I have ever not tipped...that speaks volumes to those who know me.
I'm leaving 2stars instead of 1 because the other staff there did appear very kind and tentative. Wish we had been seated...
Read moreWe came last week and our server came by 2 times in the whole hour we were there he brought us drinks and then brought out our food. He forgot one of the two appetizers we ordered completely so after reminding him it came after all our food did. Our one correct appetizer came out through someone else completely and then no one was around for almost 15 minutes to ask for anything at all. Very dissapointed because we are huge red lobster fans. Came out again tonight to try again with our two year old. The hostess brought us our drinks and then we just sat there. No idea who our server is, not one table near us was served the ten and more minutes we waited, we were going to order everything up front so we could pacify our toddler and be quick and respectful for other customers. But after waiting and seeing No one, literally the tables next to us were looking around as well, our toddler started to squirm and we had nothing we could do because normally we already have bread or anything at all to keep her busy. A manager fast walked by and didnt stop or anything when we mentioned we didnt know who our server was.. Still noone is even walking by our entire group of tables I see another server on the other side of the room with her five tables. Just rediculous. Very dissapointed and will be taking a break from coming here until they can be a bit more on point. No one we could even see was moving at much of any pace other than...
Read moreFirst time I have ever left a review for a restaurant. Wife and I went here for our anniversary, ended up spending $80 for food and gave the waitress a nice tip. There were only 4 tables seated when we went around 3 in the afternoon. The menus were filthy, only one waitress helping anyone yet many other employees wandering around. She was the only reason any stars are above one. The burger I had tasted like it was half cardboard and was overcooked. The fish, scallops and clam strips were cooked in oil that tasted like it hadn’t been changed or filtered in weeks. I don’t know who is running this place but it just felt sad in the restaurant. There was an employee sitting with an elderly couple, which seemed like her relatives that were helped before anyone else in the restaurant. On top of all this they were out of 3-4 products off their menu on a Friday afternoon. The spooky flickering lights by the bathrooms are a nice touch. All in all I won’t be returning anytime soon. An overpriced sad old relic of a place that used to serve supremely good food that you felt good about spending your hard earned money on,...
