What Triston says is absolutely true. I was one of the ones fired. They made us sign an agreement saying we wouldn't work anywhere within five miles of the stand for two years if we "left." They then fired three of us, including a wonderful gal who had worked with the prior stand, Stomping Grounds, for 7 years, and all witha phone call saying it "wasn't working out", which we received on the mornings of the days we were scheduled to work. And for the record, Rochelle Carpenter owns the stand, and Daniel is her husband, so their 5-star reviews don't mean a whole heck of a lot. Also for the record, you fired me, Rochelle. I didn't "leave to focus on school," as I keep hearing from my friends who drop by thinking I'm still there. You fired me after 4 days on the job. Tell the people that. I’m giving this place five stars because normally I absolutely LOVE this place and all the girls there. I never have anything bad to say. However the past two times I have gotten the same girl.. and I’m not a fan of her customer service. Normally I don’t have to ask for dog treats for my two girls. They almost always ask if they can have them right off the bat. Both times we had her take our order, I had to ask her for treats for my girls. I always bring them with me to get coffee because they like to feel spoiled too. I also asked for my muffin top to be warmed and she didn’t do so, it was ice cold when she handed it to me. It isn’t a good experience when she’s the one taking our order. 😔 Other than that, I definitely recommend this place! 10/10 it’s the only place I go here in Yelm. I had talked to a manager at the main office, because my roommate ordered drinks (2) to be exact. The drinks were made improperly. I was told myself or roommate could come back and have them remade , i was going out of town that evening for my sisters wedding, so it took me about a month to return. I was ridiculed and treated as if I was lying. There were 3 girls one whom was new the new girl, and a taller girl with glasses who remade my drinks, without belittling and questioning, as well as verbally arguing with me. The short girl who refused to give her name, had a Hoodie on with the hood up covering her head and forehead and she looked like she was under the influence of some type of sedative, with blood shot eyes.
