When I pulled up to the drive through to begin my order, the employee asked what I wanted, but after stating the first part of my order there was a window of silence lasting about 30 seconds before she asked me what I wanted again. I gave the first part of my order again, and had to repeat myself twice as she believed I wanted crispy (I wanted original), and thought I wanted a fill up box (I wanted the K1 meal). I was told I would be given my total at the window which is something I strongly dislike at any establishment in case there is an error.
When I got to the window, the man who was taking my payment would not stop staring directly at me throughout the transaction which made me very uncomfortable, even after he handed my card back to me and was waiting for my order to be bagged. A woman, who I believe was either the manager or a team lead handed him the bag, and told him to tell me that they were out of biscuits so they added an extra cookie in my bag. I was not notified prior to payment that there were no biscuits available, nor was I asked if a cookie was an acceptable replacement for the biscuits.
I should have checked my bag before I left, but I felt so uncomfortable from the male employee that I went home instead. Unfortunately, the food given to me was incorrect as instead of a drumstick and thigh, I had been given a drumstick and a wing. Additionally, I was given mashed potatoes with gravy instead of the green beans I requested. I called the store and explained to the employee who answered (who did not sound like any of the other employees I interacted with) my dissatisfaction. She offered to replace my meal free of charge, so I went back through the drive through.
When I arrived, I explained over the intercom that my order was incorrect, and I had come for a correction. Before I could finish my sentence, the woman on the speaker interrupted me and told me to "just pull around." She sounded annoyed or irritated. When I pulled around, I had to wait more than a minute before an employee greeted me. In fact, the lady who had just sounded irritated and told the male employee to tell me about the cookie, was now operating the drive through, but before she could even greet me she decided to clean an area of the kitchen with a rag in one hand and her phone in the other texting someone. I could see her as the area was directly next to the drive through area.
I explained my situation again to her, because she had forgotten within the minute I just spoke with her over the intercom and when I was waiting for her to finish cleaning and texting. Again, I was interupted as she asked me if my name was Thomas, which I said no, and then she had me repeat myself again. I told her what my order was supposed to be and what I had gotten. She immediately got angry and said, "I don't care what you got, I want to know what you need." There was a lot of attitude in her tone, but I did not want to make her any angrier and risk my order being incorrect again, so I explained myself a fourth time, leaving out the details on what was wrong and just what I needed to make my meal correct. She also gave me another soda, which was kind as I tried explaining that the sofa I received was correct and did not need a replacement, but it was only given to me half-heartedly as the cup was filled only half way, and the majority of it was ice.
Thankfully, there is a Royal Farms across the street if you want a fried chicken fix, and there's a Popeyes about 10 minutes away as well. Avoid this location if you can, and go to one of...
Read moreIf producers ever wanted to make a sitcom about a really really comically bad fast food restaurant, I think they should base it off of this KFC. our experience there was so bad that we were literally laughing. We went in on a very slow weekday. There was maybe one car in the drive-through and two customers in the restaurant, including us. From the way, the manager was acting you would think that she had a line of 20 cars wrapped around the building, I have never seen someone so frantic with literally so little going on before, it was actually kind of impressive. The person who took our order I’m not sure if he was new, unintelligent, or just oblivious. When I asked for my fries to be upgraded to a large you would have thought that I asked the man to tap dance, he looked at me with a blank stare, tried to ask his Manager for help who frantically told him that she was in the middle of something and that he would have to wait ( all she was doing was telling other people what to do). Meanwhile, there was one employee standing in the back, just blankly, staring at everything going on, there was another girl who was attempting to do everything that the manager was doing at the same time that the manager was doing it. I’m not sure where the confusion was with our order because like I said, there were about a total of three customers the whole time we were there which was way longer than it should have been. Long story short, it took them about 10 minutes just to figure out of the two orders that were placed what belonged to who in that span of time I’m pretty sure the manager talked about resigning at least five different times while two of the employees kind of looked busy, but I don’t think they were actually doing anything and that one guy just continued to stand there awkwardly in the back, staring at everyone else. I’m sure this doesn’t come as a surprise, but we had to correct our order about three times until it was right and the food was pretty awful. If you need some comic relief, then I highly recommend going to this KFC, if you would like chicken I highly recommend going...
Read moreThe app doesn't allow you to leave a rating of less than 1, the place should be closed down looking at all the recent reviews on the service. Or at the least a different manager and staff.
I went on a Sunday at 7pm to pick up some food. The store closes at 8pm. I wait in the line for about 10 minutes noticing the line has not moved nor do I hear the car up ahead placing an order. I decide to get out and go inside to place my order since maybe the guy was making that large of an order. I go inside and there isn't anyone at the counter, the lights are off except for a light in the back. I can hear talking but I dont see any food or smell any food. The place was actually cooler than outside as though nothing had been getting cooked in there for hours. A teenage boy walks up front and is surprised to see me I ask him if they are still open and he stands there confused. No idea if that was a staff members kid since he looked 14. A woman comes from the back seeing the kid standing there and I ask if they are open. She sighs and says they are almost out of food. I look around because where is the food? The place is dark, not one box, not one wing anywhere, it looked like they already cleaned up like it was 8 instead of 7ish. At that point I'm over it and inform her that there is a line outside that people have been waiting at. She's exasperated now saying, "someone get the headset the sensor didn't go off." This isn't Feb 2020 closing early without notification, saying you ran out of food for a restaurant is ridiculous. I can ignore the poor customer service since it's fast food so I dont care if you have a smile or chat me up when you put my food in the bag but this place is off the hook.
Overall go somewhere else. You would be better off going to the royal farms across the street.
*Also they are a combination KFC/Long John Silvers. So they ran out of chicken...
