It's been 3 years since we stopped by simply because we moved to another state. While we were back in town, we just had to stop by our favorite Pizza place to see if they still had the best pizza in this area. We arrived there about 1:20 pm on Thursday. They were not full and only had one other booth with someone in it. The place was neat, clean, and smelled great. In fact, I believe they were cleaning the kitchen as we walked in. From what I could see it was spotless. Our waitress came over introduced herself as Jace and took our drink orders. We ordered water, tea, and a beer. She then took our food order which was the Albertos Special. This Pizza has your choice of 8 toppings. We ordered the Peperoni, Ham, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Bacon, Extra Cheese, Black Olives. Every time we go there, we always ordered this Pizza special. We also ordered two side salads and an ordered of garlic bread. Our salads came out fast and were good as was the garlic bread and the beer was cold and tasted great. About the time we were done with our salads the Pizza came out. It looked very good and tons of toppings. When I bit into the Pizza it was very hot and the toppings were so good, and the crust was done perfect. I can't tell you how much I loved this, Pizza. I knew then I was giving it 5 stars. If you want to best pizza in this reviewer’s opinion, go here and get one you will not be sorry. I give this Pizza 5 out of 5 stars.

I love this family ran establishment. The owner is there most of the time and hands on, doing everything his staff is doing as well as making sure his quests are satisfied. The staff has been made up of the same people for a very very long time. I have been traveling from MD to Albertos for dinner/take out, for about 30years. I love the stromboli, from the meatball, the original, the cheesesteak, and ham/cheese stromboli are all delicious. You have the option for sauce to dip in. The dough is homemade and the flavor is something you can't capture anywhere else. The pepperoni and bacon pizza is my favorite and you can order pizza by the slice. Service is always friendly and accommodating. I love that they have a drive through so I can call my order in on the way and just grab it without getting out the car. The prices are super affordable. Hands down this is one of the best places in the York area for calzones, pizza, bolis, garlic bread, etc... We have been disappointed time after time at many other pizzerias due to them using baking powder in their crusts & breads, and the lack of seasonings in their Pomodoro sauce. Alberto's uses a very tasty yeast based dough for their crusts & breads. And finally a pizzeria that is not ashamed to use basil, garlic, oregano, and thyme in their sauces. We are so darned happy that Alberto's is so close to home, and now that the Covid restrictions have been lifted as of last Sunday, we've been in here to dine 3 times this week. Our servers have all been absolutely spot on with their table service, and coordination in the kitchen appears to run very smoothly which allowed for our food to be prepared in a quick & efficient manner.
