Coming from the Philadelphia area or east coast. I've learned as there are many Chinese food spots to get get great food , it's not like that once you leave the area. You can find a sprinkle by surprise in other states but mostly let downs. Chinese kitchen in York SC has the worse Chinese rice in the game. I order the popular hood meal created in the early 2000s, chicken wings an fried rice. This platter was to bring more black customers in by adding a chicken wing combo. I seen the Chinese Kitchen had it.. ordered paid 11.45 . Price high, opened the box and there were 4 wings that were a nice size an two small ice cream scoops of colored white rice. No onions no peas or carrots and had the nerve to put no rice!!! Chinese rice is so good in the east coast that you can order a quart by itself an be highly satisfied. Chinese food is nothing without the amazing taste of fried rice!!!! I wouldn't tell anyone to go here.. that was the worse rice in the world which makes it no point to try anything else! The Chinese fried chicken wings were decent... BUT CHINESE FOOD IS KNOWN FOR ITS GREAT RICE! To the owners, look up the Chinese menu in Philadelphia or New York an learn how to make the FOOD. I've found 2 spots thus far in the charlotte area that are ok. One being the hibachi buffet that makes East coast Chinese quinine.
I gave this place a 2... it was bad enough the rice was messed up but two small scoops forc11.45!!!!
It was disrespectful!!!
I should be full!! A full tank of rice an...
Read moreGood thing my middle brother told me about there meat always hanging outside and turned gray. If I could rate there place 0 stars, I would this place is worst than nasty the general tso’s chicken, fried rice and egg roll were super duper awful like the chicken was nothing like real meat but instead it was mostly rubber I could barely believe that it wasn’t real, the fried rice didn’t look anything like actual rice which was yellow instead of regular brown with eggs in it & the egg roll had a wonton wrap that smelled and tasted like cinnamon and was not supposed to be that way. And you have to pay extra for an egg roll plus the chopsticks and fortune cookies are supposed to be free instead charging 25 cents. Very abysmal!!! And when you go inside, it’s like there’s either a dog or a cat bringing their smells & hairs all over the place… Most definitely won’t...
Read moreThe food is not as good as it used to be. I always order the same sweet and sour chicken combination platter. When I tried to eat chicken wing, fluid kept dripping out. Don't know if they soak chicken in anything before battering and frying. But in the past. This did not happen. The sweet and sour chicken, the battered chicken was very tough. Inedible. The rice was good. My tea was good. But the food has changed. Was a waste of my hard earned money. They have a sign up about no refunds, unless meal was raw, bloody, etc. Should have taken the hint when I read that sign. I will not be ordering from here again. Preparation of food has changed and not...
