KFC — Restaurant in York

This has to be the dirtiest restaurant I have even stepped foot in. I should have went with my instincts and turned around and left but unfortunately I didn't. Its apparent that there is no one connected to this restaurant that care in the least bit about cleaning or the upkeep of this place. I asked for a plastic knife and the girl rolled her eyes at me and reluctantly gave it to me. I got a cup of sweet tea from the dispencer and a long slimmy sting of black mold came out and was hanging on the side of my cup. Obviously from not cleaning the nozzle on the dispencer. So I went to the cashier to ask for a new cup and not only did she ignore me and turned around and walked away that left me to rinse out the nasty cup in order to get anything to drink to choke down the dry chicken. The heating units above the buffet were covered in filth and dust and smeared with food that looked like it had been on there for 6 months or longer. The dinning area floor was littered with wrappers, chicken breading, grease, and we could see numerous spills of soda and tea that couldn't have been cleaned up all day. We know they have a broom and dust pan because it was stored up against the trash can where we were sitting. In general this entire place was grimey and filthy. The photo shows the wall by the entrance and I haven't seen an area in the restaurant that looked any better. Stay away from this restaurant there is no excuse for this type of personel and the lack of cleanliness shows a strong disrespect for the public that is expected to eat here. I would have expected a better level of quality from the KFC brand but apparently this place has gone...

I sat at the drive through order speaker for at least 7 -8 minutes without anyone taking my order. Finally I parked and went inside to place my order. There was 2 people eating at a table. Two people waiting for their orders, and me. I placed my order and stood back to wait for it. I was asked, after about 5 minutes waiting for my food if I would like dinner rolls or wait 7 minutes for biscuits. I opted to wait for the biscuits since I'd already spent more than 20 minutes there already! This particular KFC definitely has issues. Once I was told they had no soft drinks, did I want water! More than once, when stopping between 4:30 - 5:30 they have no chicken cooked or no special sandwiches featured. I've also gotten home only to discover something is missing from my order. Buyers be aware. I got a $5.00 fill up with three side's. Price came to over $8.00.

I found out that a slaw would cost another $2.50 so I took it off and paid $5.77. While waiting I circled around and saw an extra side was supposed to be $1.00 extra.

When I asked about this turns out that one of the two sides with the meal would have cost $1.00 more and that the two that came with the meal were all the same price.

So why the $2.50? It's all about which one's you choose. Then I find out this one has a buffet line inside. Bottom line is it's what they don't want to tell you first that could save your money.
