Huddle House — Restaurant in York

Just go to waffle house, walked in waited 20 mins before finally cleaning off our own table, helped myself to the kitchen for a cleaning rag to wipe it off with and disinfect, then proceeded to help myself behind the register to get us our own menus until we was finally greeted by a waitress that took our order with a lighter in her hand (safe to assume she was more worried about a cigarette over doing her job) and then waitress came back asking about our order 6 (SIX) TIMES because appearantly she didn't write it all down the first time probably because she was high on drugs (track marks up and down her arm along with thumb tack stuck to her cheek) then was asked what came with the MVP breakfast as if we was supposed to memorize the menu for the first time ever going to huddle house then started bring bits and pieces of our order, when we asked for silverware was given some that looked like they pulled off of someone else's plate and gave straight to us without even washing it at this point we just got up and left didn't even dare to try the food or bother wasting our money or anymore time...Our very first and very last Trip to any huddle house for...

Ham n chz omelette very little ham n was odd all the ham was on one side of omelette. Was going to tell server but they never came back to check on me. Oh well

Updated visit again. Same ole same ole. Food was nothing to write home about ham n cheese omelet, has brown and toast ordered a side of bacon and they decided to put the bacon in the omelette. I asked the waitress where my side of bacon was and she said in the omelette said I did not ask for a ham,bacon and cheese omelet that I asked for a side bacon. Waitress brought out bacon and let and that was the last I seen of her. Went to pay the bill and paid with card was not going to leave a tip as I base my tip on if the waitress checks on us refills drinks asks if we need anything etc... if they do not and all they do is bring food out I generally will not tip but this time the waitress is hovering over me telling me how to leave a tip on the machine just very uncomfortable feeling. Think this be the last time for awhile until I return to huddle house. Tired of going to places and customer service is just out the window the...

So this was our first ever experience with a huddle house and we ordered it via delivery through door dash. There were some definite highlights on the meals and we did have a rather large order. The one thing I can say is that multiple things went wrong in the order which was really frustrating and disappointing. First off an entire order of hashbrowns with toppings added was missed. The ham that came in one of the meals was by far the worst, most foul tasting meat I have ever been served, it was almost as thin as paper, and it was completely dry. The side of mac and cheese ordered tasted very off and not appetizing at all. The burger in all tasted really delicious aside from the fact of the lettuce being totally wilted and the bun was burnt. The hashbrowns that we did end up getting with other meals were okay but they were very crunchy.

The blueberry muffin bites with cream cheese dip was very good. The BLT, appetizer plate, omelet, biscuits and gravy, and waffle were all served properly and tasted...
