I went to visit for lunch on 3/20/25 @ 1:50pm (receipt says served by 8599), if that helps determine who actually helped us. The woman was immediately unpleasant with a slight attitude upon entering the store. She asked my 11 year old what kind of wrap she wanted, which I asked what kinds of wraps did they have. She pointed at the menu board and said they are up there. I informed her we understood that, but did they have different flavor wraps? She said "we got one". Which is fine... ok in that case, we will take that one then. Maybe word it "what would you like on your wrap" to not be misunderstood that you're asking what flavor wrap they want, as most sandwich shops have different flavor wraps (such as spinach, tomato basil, etc). Anywho... the entire time she was helping us she was loudly huffing and puffing (to make it noticeable to us she was aggravated), saying outloud, "I cannot wait to get off this shift", "ugh... I'm tired as crap", and making almost low growls under her breath, etc. All while rolling her eyes the entire time. When the other lady was putting toppings on the sandwich, she didn't know the difference between oil and vinegar. Also put cucumbers on my sandwich when I asked for pickles, which I had to correct her on. Also said "huh!!" to everything we said we wanted on the sandwich even though we were both speaking loud a clear enough to be heard properly. We had to repeat 2-3 times with every ingredient. Low key frustrating. Maybe she seriously had a hearing problem? I don't complain much, but this visit got under my skin. The rudeness in that place was top tier and so unnecessary. I know it's just Subway, not a 5 star restaurant but geez! If you hate your job that much, simply go somewhere you don't interact with the public, because that kind of behavior will kill a business quick! I will NOT be back to this location and will simply go to different Subways from here on out. As soon as we walked out my 11 year old daughter said, "Wow mama... they were legit SO rude in there, it was so awkward"! Yeh... no kidding, we won't be back, no worries! Not friendly or welcoming at all. Felt as if we bothered them making them...
Read moreWe use to fairly regularly go to this Subway and always had a very pleasant experience. The manager was always very friendly and the staff greeted us with a smile. I guess there is a new manager and staff now because the whole restaurant has gone completely downhill. The past 4-5 times we've gone, all the employees greeted us with annoyed glares and just looked like they were put off we were there. Twice they've either been completely out of bread or their bread was still thawing out, so we had to leave. I've never seen this be such a problem at any other Subway before. The staff has been rude and completely indifferent to anything we ask. My husband went one night after a long day to grab us a quick dinner. It was about 20 mins before they close and we fully understand that it's late and they were ready to leave, but the fact is, they were still open. He said they all looked annoyed the minute he pulled up and then asked if we were going to want a sandwich toasted because they had just shut everything off. There were several things we told them to just not worry about since it seemed like such an inconvience since they already had put everything up. It's like we were a bother to ask them to do their job, during their posted work hours. When you're open, you're open. You clean up after you close. That's just how it goes. I never write any negative reviews about any businesses but after about the 5th visit where we've left annoyed and frustrated, I figured I would share our experience. We'll just go to the Walmart Subway now as they seem to get...
Read moreThe one star is only bc i had to give it to leave a review. Normally would have given 4 or 5 stars to this subway but i stopped by here on friday around 7 pm to get 2 subs and was told the only bread they had was 1 foot long herb and cheese one foot long wheat and one flat bread. There were like 4 other ppl in there so that was awkward to start. They left to go somewhere else and i called my bf to see if he was ok with the herb and cheese for his meatball sub. When the girl pulled out that bread it was already sliced, completely smashed flat and tattered at the edges. Mind you they did not completely run out of bread bc there was a ton of what looked like white bread in the proofer. When i asked how long before they'd have more ready the girl said 20 min. More ppl walked in just then and another female employee told them 2 hrs lol. There were 3 or 4 girls on shift at that time. How on earth did they all forget to proof/bake the main ingredient necessary for literally almost every item on the menu. Needless to say everyone left and went to the other subway in York. They were out of meatballs so i ended up getting wendys. Very...
