This place is awesome, their food is spectacular and the folks there are super nice. The prices are fantastic as well, I would have expected higher price for the quality of the food and the quantity is great as well!
Food: Had a rainbow roll which looked picture perfect, color and freshness were amazing. Pork shumai which was extremely good and came with way more than I thought for the price. Chicken teriyaki bowl (got this to eat for lunch the next day but ended up eating most of it that night, was so good and price again was great). Shoyu Ramen was on point, perfect for what it is, isn't too crazy with additional things just a good balanced soup. Paitan Ramen was also on point. Had not had this broth before and we are Ramen people. My fiancee likes spicier broth than I do, I asked Tony how spicy and he was nice enough to give us the spice on the side, which was very spicy don't dump it all into one!
Go check out Min Sushi, Tony the owner was great to talk to as I made my order in person to go while having a beer. They have sodas and other drinks up front but do have beer and sake as well. Definitely...
Read moreAn absolute GEM. I'm so used to Northeast Asian spots to be middling fusion spots, but this is the GENUINE article. Staff is SO nice and cheerful. The kind of place where they remember your name and orders. We were looking for a place last minute that would be open New Years Eve or Day and Min was there for us. We dined in and loving the homey, unrushed atmosphere asked for what their 3 favorite rolls. After a couple of clarifying questions on preferences (spicy, salmon, crunchy), he came out with a sweet potato and shrimp tempura roll, shrimp tempura with garlic crunchies, and spicy salmon with garlic and onion crunchies. I would NEVER get a sweet potato roll on my own volition but it was surprisingly delightful and I'm glad we went with their recommendation. We also got a ramen and poke bowl for our midnight to-go snacks, which the owner passed over with reheat and serving tips. I would honestly stop here on any of my coastal Maine trips over some overpriced seafood restaurant in a...
Read moreFamily and I went to Min Sushi & Ramen in York the other night and left with a full bellies and smiles on our faces. Started with the Crab Rangoon, fried shrimp and miso soup. All were delicious, but I must say I was thrilled with the miso soup. It was fresh, flavorful and filling. The Shrimp was very light, crunchy and "clean" tasting (hope that makes sense). Moved on to the sushi, Had a spicy crunchy Salmon roll, the Spicy chicken roll and a yellowtail roll. All three were fantastic and had 10 pieces each!!! One of us got a Bento box...The seaweed salad was amazing!! So much flavor! We normally go to Domo and spend a fortune, All this was under $80 including tea and drinks. The place was clean and bright (fresh yellow roses on the tables), bathroom was spotless and the waitstaff (owner) was very friendly and attentive. Will go back again and again. Well...
