WOW, NOT YOUR MOTHER’S TV DINNER! As a child, I loved it when our Mother treated us all to a TV dinner. It was quick, easy and a complete meal. But, this was not my Mother’s TV Dinner. We ordered our meals in advance and simply did a drive thru to pick them up at the WABI CAFE FOOD TRUCK to be eaten at home after heating them. (Directions included) Mind you, this was a Gourmet Meal created by World Class Chef, Mike Fennelly who has reinvented his craft to adapt to current challenging events. He continues to serve up superior specialties in a Take Home Package complete with Dessert. The ‘From Rome with Love’ theme did not miss it’s mark. Perfectly cooked and seasoned veggies and a hearty entree followed by absolutely the best ever Lemon Semolina Cake with fresh apple and raspberry confit and Maine Honey Creme Fraiche. We added a side order of Antipasti Pizza which tasted exactly like I remember from my trip to Rome where I bought Pizza by the pound in Street Side Shoppes. A large Caesar salad with seared asparagus and Ricotta Salata and Romano cheese complemented everything and there was more than enough food...

My Wabi Cafe dining experience was the highlight of my Maine vacation.Outdoor dining experience in the courtyard of owner /chef Mike Fennelly residence in York Maine.The dining experience is perfect,intimate Asian ambience in a relaxed surroundings while being served a unique Asian / American cuisine. Chef Fennellys menu changes daily and consist of only the freshest ingredients being prepared with the best local ingredients. The pasta served is absolutely the best I have eaten ,and will bring me back for further dining.There is a fabulous selection of wine and aperitifs. The menu served is a great alternative to the standard Maine Cuisine.l had a 4 course pre fixed menu for 35 dollars , with wine and a Sake tasting flight being an additional nominal cost.Absolutely the best valued fine dining I have ever experienced.
