York Fried Chicken — Restaurant in York

The lady behind the counter didn't understand much English. I had to know if curry was used on certain food items because of a food allergy I have. I opted not to get anything but my husband got chicken wings. Later in the evening he was beyond sick to his stomach from them. Of course it might not have been from this place , I understand that. I highly doubt I will visit this place again. I'm not about to end up in the hospital with an allergic reaction because they couldn't tell me if certain spices were used. Good for most, just not for me. In response to your nasty comment back to me. First off I did say his sickness might have been something else. Second, I said I had a food allergy not him. Most restaurants have signs or warnings about certain ingredients in the food. I would've known that the wings didnt have curry if the lady understood english better. I will raise the review to a 3 and no higher. I will suggest a few things before this is done. Possibly have someone on hand that can communicate in english so important questions can be answered. IE.. food allergies and such Think about a name change seeing that fried chicken is not even on the menu. Learn to take criticism professionally. Not every person that gives a negative review deserves a nasty comment back. Learn from it and try to do better.

In closing you should probably read the entire comment before going off. My comment was not terrible. It was honest. I even said good for some just not for me. I could've said so much more...

My husband just happened to come across this restaurant while in route to another restaurant. We have been in York for 3 years and never knew this restaurant existed. I am from NYC and I haven’t had Spanish food this good anywhere outside of NYC. The food was seasoned, the steak was spicy and so tender and the staff was very nice. We initially only got a small container of food just to try it and we turned back around in the evening to get some more. I will continue to patronize this...

I've visited this place twice & each time the people were quite pleasant. Both times, I wasn't very pleased...
