Rocco's Pizzeria LLC — Restaurant in Youngwood

On several occasions over the last year or so I have had less than acceptable food. But the last two times I ordered from Rocci's Pizzeria in Youngwood I got very bad food. The time before last I ordered "cinnamon pretzel sticks" at the suggestion of the person on the phone since they no longer sold the dessert item I used to buy. They were terrible. There was no cinnamon and they were just tough pieces of inedible bread. The last and final time I received my order and opened the pizza box and could tell just by looking that it was bad. The crust was thinner than usual and was flat, as in did not appear to have raised at all. The toppings were minimal at best. I tried to eat the pizza but the crust was inedible. All I could do was pick the topping off and eat them. Given that they had changed their menu and NOT updated their website menu I asked for a new menu. One was not delivered. I posted a review on facebook which prompted someone (the owner maybe) to deliver a menu and $10 gift card to my door. Too little... too late.. too many times of subpar quality food. In my opinion the problems with the food stared when they opened their second store. A real shame as I really used to love their pizza. I don't understand why it is not possible to buy pizza that is...

Great menu but cooks cant seem to pruduce a consistent product.. different cooks equals different size and flavor of the same entree. Wings are very tough but nice size and something is always forgotten,missing or switched on delivery orders. i spent about $30 a day atleast 10 times over a course of two weeks and experienced a roller-coaster of feelings. Lastly i ordered for the first time a steak calzone that was too thin in the middle (fell apart when cut) and the crust was completely uncooked all dough.. They knew i was a repeat customer as the very nice girls taking the phone orders were kind and aquainted with my voice and phone number. (love their personalities) One cook even denied forgetting to put extra meat on a gyro I ordered. For some odd reason, the cooks didn't seem to care about getting my orders right. (hmmm im sure i know why) Maybe the locals get better quality food cooked. First time having Rocco's Pizza and it was great! We ordered a large x-cheese half Pepperoni pizza. The pizza was perfect. As I was waiting inside the employees at the counter were very nice. They were either taking care of a customer or cleaning. The atmosphere inside is very cool. They have tables to dine in if you want to go thay route. They also offer delivery. We are out of the delivery range but was in the area so we did a pick up and took it home with us. Not only do they have tables inside but they have tvs, a lot of very cool Rocky memorabilia! They also sell drinks, local BBQ sauce and t-shirts! Oh and while I was waiting I noticed they have seasonings and such on a table to put on your food if you would like.
