We are visiting the Yreka area from the San Francisco Bay area and had lunch at Natalee today. Lunch specials come with chicken and rice soup and an egg roll. The soup was very flavorful. The egg roll was good but not spectacular. My husband and I ordered the Pad Kee Mao and Cashew Nut Delight. Both were very good. My husband decided he liked the Pad Kee Mao best. I enjoyed the heat of the Cashew Nut Delight. Medium heat was more like mild in the restaurants at home. I might try hot next time. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. It is conveniently located on S. Main street between the south and central Yreka exits.
Update 3 years later: We're back in the area. This time I dined with my MIL and daughter. The soup was once again delicious and the egg roll was superbly crunchy. My daughter got chicken pad Thai. The noodles were a little chewy but the flavor was good. I ordered yellow curry with chicken. It was fantastic with just a hint of heat. Lots of chunky potatoes, carrots, onions, and chicken in a thick and creamy curry sauce. Portions are...
Read moreThis restaurant charges a "Service Fee" if you sat in their restaurant for more than 15 minutes. My husband and I ordered 3 entrees, 2 drinks and our total was $60, if you ask me that's a bit pricey. When questioned about the extra charge, the lady told me they charge a service fee if you dine in for more than 15 minutes. That's ridiculous! I rate the food 1 star because it was not good, no flavor and customer service was horrible! They didn't refill my water, instead they laughed and chatted in the kitchen while staring at my husband and I. And for these reasons I did not leave a tip. They expect me to tip after the service fee also? Tip is based on performance. I'm asain and I support my local restaurant but not this one,...
Read moreReally super duper amazing food with very friendly staff who is super quick with getting your order taken and ready to go or ready to eat in. I just can't get over how amazing their food is. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. Their beef fried rice is just to die for and their egg rolls are utterly delicious.
Update: I don't know if they have a new cook or something but lately their fried rice has been different Everytime I go in. It's to the point I am not wanting to get it anymore. I paid $40 for 3 rices recently and they were so bland tasting and it seemed like everything in it was raw. Very upsetting and I hope if there is a new cook that they learn how to get the rice as...
