Java Detour — Restaurant in Yuba City

Ever since Dutch Bros moved in across the street, their coffee and service has gone WAAAAYYYYY down hill. You would think with all that competition (because literally the line at Dutch Bros is always packed) they would step up their game or at least keep up with their quality and service. The quality of their coffee and service has been hit or miss.Today was the last straw with this place. The girl didn't put the lid on correctly, when I went to set my coffee down it spills all over middle console and my phone, (which I thought was toast because afterwards it wasn't working properly. It's fine now). I hand it back to the lady telling her the lid wasn't on properly. She puts a new lid on, doesn't even give me a new cup and didn't even offer to refill it. May/24 I was served the worst drink ever from Java detour this morning. The employees were not to enthused. Plain n simple the worst service ever. I have been a Java detour fan for a very long time! If you have the patience to wait for a while and got plenty of gas and time and no other close alternatives for a coffee or smoothie you can try this place. But beware, I ordered my kids smoothies and very clearly and with absolute eye contact said " no whip topping Please" and she still loaded it with whip it. When I asked her didn't I tell you no whip cream she scoured like a hag and offered to "take it off" .terrible customer service, only gave it a star because my 6 year old said the smoothie was ok.
