Queen Penny Tires — Local services in Yuba City

Took my truck to get an alignment about a month ago everyone else was booked (I was impatient). They do have good prices on tires but wont take my truck here again for alignment. My truck has some light rust underneath but not heavy to say the least. Well spent a good part of my day there. Instead of them telling me its gonna align to the proper limits they tried to force it. They busted a bolt underneath and were gonna put a cheap bolt to get my truck out. I asked if we could get a bolt from Chevy (they are 2 buildings over) and went and grabbed it ( didnt mention price) I assumed they broke it they would replace the bolt because the mechanic said it was his fault! Once they replaced the bolt they continued with alignment. Which I could tell that it was not gonna happen. Spent around 6 hrs getting alignment. When it was all said and done I went to see what they would charge. They showed me what they were able to align which pretty much was .2 over (nothing really) and they charged me the bolt $35 and $80 for alignment plus 6 hrs of my day to gain nothing. But Of course they are nice and have cheap prices but cheap is what it is, cheap! I will make sure to stick to Les Schwab when it comes to things like this. I felt robbed to say the least and to be sent almost home on a bolt that was not meant to withstand the pressure would of been the hazard (thank God I suggested Chevy parts dept). We were heading out of town for Christmas and our car needed new tires, we’re new to the area and found this little gem. We arrived as soon as they opened and were helped right away, the service was very friendly, fast and informative. The guys helping out seemed genuine when we asked for their honest recommendations on what we needed vs what we didn’t, which we appreciated. They also offer a military discount which is great! Thank you! The only down side to our visit was we had to postpone leaving for our trip at 3am as planned and wait until 8am when they opened because the night we got our tires one of our tires was triggering out low pressure light to come on and was slowly dropping pressure, so we went back the next day as soon as they opened. We were met again with friendly and fast service, they took our tire off and checked it and turned out that it was just the valve stem of our tire that was loose from them putting on new tires and something that just happens sometimes. I bought new tires months ago, but my car felt shaky. I later found out the shop offered a free alignment, which I wasn't informed about at the time. When I called, they told me to come in the next day for the alignment, which was fine, I’m a patient person.

However, when we arrived, an employee came out with a bad attitude and told us to come back another day because they were too busy. The way he spoke to us made it feel like we had done something wrong, as if we were an inconvenience for simply accepting the alignment they had offered.

Rather than deal with such unprofessional treatment, we took our business elsewhere. I'd rather pay full price than be treated poorly for no reason other than being a customer. To make matters worse, people associated with the business bad-mouthed me on social media, trying to shift the blame onto me.

The owner did reach out and offered to make things right, which I appreciate. However, after being verbally attacked online, I have no interest in returning and would never recommend this...
