Iguanas Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Yuba City

The waitress was so sweet and nice at first, I don't know if she became overwhelmed with our large party of 20 but she ended up being so rude. Half way through service her attitude changed. When we ended up asking for the tabs she said she couldn't split it. There was a bit of a confusion with the other guest , so one of us walked over to her to come explain the check situation to the whole party. When she was explaining it she proceeded with the attitude and then said we can use separate cards and if we wanted to we could go separate our own tab but that she was not going to do that. Then she said " if you cant afford to eat out, then don't eat out!" and walked off. We paid the tab and tried informing the owner that the tab wasn't a problem we just needed it explained so the other guest had an understanding and that her employee was rude. But the owner just kept repeating over and over that she couldn't split the tab. I will never return there. The food is not worth the prices and the customer service...

The waiter we had seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem. We ordered our meals and asked for extra things to accompany our meals (sour cream, salsa, etc.). She brought our food and forgot about our extra items so we asked for them again and this is when the attitude started to show. She neglected us for the majority of our time there (mind you there were only three tables occupied). The other waitress talked to her customers the duration of their time there. Poor service and when you get it, it's with an attitude for asking anything extra. Food, well I was not impressed with the wet burrito which is supposed to have Enchilada sauce- Del Pato sauce tastes better than whatever they put on top that burrito I ordered here.

It is a shame to have to write this review but I think this place it's in a great location, has great contemporary Mexican decor (it's upscale) but their service and food are lacking. So much wasted potential...

Horrible customer service! I ordered some food to go and they forgot key ingredients on my burrito. No sour cream and no guacamole, which costs extra and I paid. The burrito was dry and barely edible. When I called, the "manager", also known as the owners daughter, wonder how she got her job, refused to remake the food and only offer free guacamole on my next visit. She even admitted they had a new cook who had been messing up orders, but would not remake the burrito. She was rude and snide, but most of all, it was too clear that she has no business being a manager or working in any type of customer service type roles. Obviously, there will not be a next visit, so free guacamole is useless. Don't waste your time with this place. The food too over priced for them to forget 2 of the 6...
