Kabob & Gyro Hub — Restaurant in Yuba City

As soon as I walked in no one was around, no one dining and no music on. I thought I walked in during closed hours. Minutes later a lady walks out of the kitchen completely ignored me until my keys jingled. Came to my service and sat me down. Had to flag down for my order to be taken. After ordering I ask for a cup of water. Still at this point I have this place all to myself and still no music and I’ve been here for a good minute. I didn’t receive the cup of water until my food came. Which at this point I’ve been waiting for 15-20 minutes. Finally some music and other folks dines in. Food was okay for the area of Yuba City, but wasn’t expecting hamburger patties look like that was supposed to be beef kabobs. Salad wasn’t a salad, looked like a sandwich without bread and meat. Couldn’t even get any napkin. Having to walk out of here with grease all over my mouth. Would I eat here again. Maybe not....

I would say, if you order take out from here you should be ok, that said if their kitchen is anything like their eating utensils, dirty and sticky then I would say order somewhere else. The taste of the food was great my wife and I were just here for Valentines dinner and I would have thought more people would have been here but only one other couple showed up during our time here. So, my biggest complaint is not the silverware, but the person doing the service. He acts like he doesn't want to be there and if he gets something wrong with your order it seems to really bother him to have to fix it. I gonna have to say if there was someone up front that cares about their job instead of acting like they are only there because they have to be this place might get more walk in business. Until some things change I will not be sitting down to...

My husband and I were alone for the evening and decided to go out. We have our favorite places in the area but decided to try something new. Glad we did. The owner greeted us at the door which thrilled my husband as he loves to talk. The booths were pretty and comfy. Had the chai hot tea, it was soooo good. Drank three cups. My husband ordered the Gyro and loved it! I ordered the mixed platter with chicken and gyro on top of a bed of basmati rice, drizzled with two different sauces one white and one green and they were both amazingly good. With fresh lettuce onions and homemade pickled cucumber on the side, as well as two triangles of pita. The meat, especially the chicken was amazing and seasoned perfectly. I couldn't eat it all. The husband had to finish it off for me. We will definitely be going back. Try it out guys I think...
