My husband and I visited your Yuba City location tonight for dinner. while waiting in line to order, a lady and her son walked through complaining that she didn't get any of the "extra things" she ordered. She warned me not to eat there. I should have listened. We ordered and paid for our meals at 5:01 pm. My husband ordered a shrimp platter and a salad. I ordered just the salad bar. As we were fixing our salads, I noticed that a great many of the selections were low or empty. I stopped one employee (whom I later learned was an assistant manager) and requested eggs for the salad bar, as the container was empty. After about 15 minutes, I requested eggs from our server. I requested eggs again after 30 minutes. Finally, after 40 minutes, I asked for the Manager. The original lady I talked to came over. I reminded her that I had asked for eggs and that none had been put out. I notified her that I had only eaten 1 fried chicken wing, while waiting the 40 minutes. I asked for her to refund my salad. She went and spoke to the Manager (Mike). She returned and told me that Mike will not give me a refund, as I had already eaten something from the salad bar. I was offered a free salad bar for my next visit. I asked to speak with Mike. The assistant manager returned and stated that Mike will not speak with me. They again offered a coupon for a free salad at our next visit and stated that the eggs were still frozen. I declined. If I had been notified that there were no eggs, I could have ordered something with a different protein option. They offered to get me something different and I declined. I am not trying to get free food. I purchased an item that wasn't available and wanted my money back. Of course, I am willing to pay for the fried chicken wing I ate. Why would I ever go back to this restaurant, while under Mike's management? Why was a salad bar EMPTY at the beginning of the dinner rush? Why won't Mike leave his office to speak with guests? I am disgusted by my experience at the Yuba City location. Please DO NOT send me a coupon to say, "I'm sorry". At this time, I will be spending 9 days online to bash this location and Mike in EVERY social media platform I can find. Fortunately, today started my vacation. I have lots of time to do so. Read moreWe went in for dinner on Christmas. Totally expecting to have a wait for food and for it to be crowded. As we began to order our food they were like we're out of this out of that. Still decided ok were here let's eat. We ordered our food and waited for over an hr to get our food. When it arrived the food was cold and not cooked properly. Steaks that we asked to be cooked well were rare and the med rare Steaks looked as if they didn't even try to cook it. Our waiter HANNAHLEAH never onced asked us for refills in the hour we waited for drinks or hey maybe I can get you some bread while you wait. Not only did we tell her she got our drink order wrong she asked for our receipt as if we were lying. When our food came out she gave a smug look and proceeded to mmhmm under her breath in a way like you don't need this. Because it took so long we asked she bring another plate of the unlimited shrimp now. The look was just like a ya whatever.... shrimp never came. We asked to speak to a manager and server didn't even bother to grab her. We had to go up front and ask for her again! I wished I had gotten her name she was very understanding and helpful..she replaced what she could quickly and refunded us accordingly. I get it's the holidays but your server should really do a better job at providing exceptional service to keep customers wanting to come back. Read moreThe people there are so, so nice! Happy, Happy ppl! Even the manager. I seen how thwy all communicated and it was nice to see a good working environment. The place was soOo clean! And, just so nice & inviting. Nobody was standing around doing nothing. Everyone was working and the salad bar was so beautiful and clean and we watched the lady there constantly going back and forth to wipe up and re-stock the food. It was all so fresh and good! The only thing's we didn't care for was the spaghetti sauce and nacho cheese. Lol the spaghetti sauce and meatballs tasted legit like Spaghetti O's feom a can. I Seear..it was the same taste! Yuck! Lol And, the nacho cheese was so weird... taste off and had a glowy effect. Like super cheap fake cheese. Yuck! I threw that out too! Lol The salad bar was the only thing that seemed to be worth it. If you love salads like we do, it's worth it! And, in the end we ate ice cream from the machine. Its was just good. Not great. But, it was fun to go back to a Sizzlers as an adult. My husband and I are feom San Jose Ca. And, we grew up going to Sizzlers there. So going was exciting for us lol brought ba k the memories as we were kids. And, that cheesy toast I think is the main reason I was excited to go! Haha Let me tell you.. it did not disappoint! That bread still taste as I had remembered it! Will we end up going back anytime soon? Probably not. But, it was fun to take our daughter and tell her all about our childhood memories going to Sizzlers with our parents! :)...
