We've come here for years and it used to be our favorite chinese place however, it's gone down hill over the past few years. Dont get me wrong the workers work hard, but some of them get very rude when I assume they are overwhelmed. Its unnecessary and undeserved by the customer. For example, we called in an order and were told an 11/2 hours. No problem, we can wait. We show up around 1hr and 45 minutes to 2 hours later to give them a bit extra time from past experience. The food still isnt ready and they tell my husband it's going to be an addition 45 minutes to an hour.So what was supposed to be an 1 1/2 wait is now going to be about 3 hours. My husband tells them hes going to ask me if I want to wait or cancel and the waitress gets an attitude with him and says if hes going to cancel she needs to know NOW. Like, we've been more than patient, she can give him 2 minutes to talk to me. The wait times are ALWAYS unrealistic. My example was the worst and the last time we went and we wont be back again. Expect your wait time to be at a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour or more past the quoted wait time. The food has kinda gone downhill too. Its greasy, a lot of the items have this weird sour flavor, and it's just not quality. I feel like because they know they have a lot of business they can get away with subpar food and not worry about the quality. It's really unfortunate. I also feel cleanliness in the restaurant is a concern too. The place feels like it needs a deep cleaning. I hope they take these reviews into consideration and make some small changes. I would love to come back if they do, but until then theyve lost what was a long...
Read moreI dislike leaving bad reviews for small businesses, but I was so thoroughly disappointed with this place I hope they read these and fix it.
I ordered take out in store. It didn’t take long and employees were polite. The web menus that I found had cheaper prices than the in store ones so be mindful of that. Pandemic no problem.
I order beef chow mein, generals chicken and rice, with an egg roll.
I’ve attached photos… as other reviews state the generals chicken was inedible I threw it away after 2-3 bites. The chicken was stringy the sauce was like ive never tasted general chicken(not the problem) it tasted like soggy soy sauce mushrooms, with far to much salt…. The breading fell off and separated and it was greasy. Photo attached.
The chow mein was edible, I ate the most of it, the noodles were tiny like they were broken up then cooked or broke up while cooking, there was a lot of stringy oily onions and/or cabbage? Not sure wasn’t pleasant you can see I picked around them. This dish was also far overly salted. The beef that was in it was good but I wish there was more however there wasn’t any less than most other restaurants get away with.
The soup was also very salty, tasted ok other than that, it isn’t to my preference though because it has water chest nut chunks in it and I’m not a fan… salt is the only issue with that though
Fried Rice was super bland… the other dishes took all the salt I guess :)
The egg roll was of the big variety and it was good but soft and chewy… maybe under cooked? I’m not sure if the wrapper is supposed to be like that and...
Read moreI hate doing this, but maybe, just maybe, some things will be done differently after reading this review. First time there. I drove up, and there are homeless living on the left of the restaurant and a few suspect places on the right in the same strip mall. It looked upkept, so I already questioned it. I paid $25 for an order of pot stickers and order of eggrolls. Upon opening it, there were several things I noticed: 1. the eggrolls were burnt/overcooked and were filled with mainly celery, unidentifiable greens, some type of chewy meat, and miniturized shrimp. 2. The potstickers were undercooked, gooey, and the meat also appeared unidentifiable and smelled suspect. My suggestion: fill each eggroll with higher grade, bigger, and fresh shrimp, carrots, sprouts, celery, and onion and cook correctly. Secondly, fill the potstickers with fresh, wholesome meat mixed with fresh veggies and cook so they are not gooey and have a crisp edge to them. The prices were wayyyyyy to high. Lastly, make sure you are hosing off the front of the establishment, painting the wood that was shoved into the windows, and clean the area up surrounding the front of the restaurant to make it cleaner. Once again, I hate giving a bad review, but this one is necessary. Won't return unless...
